Julie Chen made a bold move at the end of the Big Brother live episode on Thursday (September 13) by signing off with her married name, days after husband Leslie Moonves was ousted as CEO of CBS.

The longtime host of Big Brother took a break from television this week after her husband left his job at CBS following allegations of sexual assault, sexual harassment, and violence.

Julie is taking a leave of absence from her daily talk show The Talk, but she returned to Big Brother to host the double eviction episode.

At the end of the episode, Julie signed off by saying, “From outside the Big Brother house, I’m Julie Chen Moonves, good night.”

Julie usually signs off by saying, “I’m Julie Chen,” so it’s clear that she is standing by her husband with this statement.

Julie Chen has made an announcement after reports emerged that her husband Leslie Moonves has left his position as CEO of CBS due to allegations of sexual assault and sexual violence.

“I am taking a few days off from The Talk to be with my family,” Julie told Dateline. “I will be back soon and will see you Thursday night on Big Brother.”

If you don’t know, Leslie and Julie married back in 2004.

As stated in her statement, she will continue her duties hosting Big Brother.

Julie Chen is reiterating her support for husband and CBS CEO Leslie Moonves amid allegations of sexual harassment.

On CBS’ The Talk on Monday (July 30), Julie opened the show by looking directly into the camera and saying, “Some of you may be aware of what has been going on in my life for the past few days. I have issued the one and only statement I will ever make on this topic on Twitter.”

Julie added, “And I will stand by that statement today, tomorrow, forever.”

Julie Chen is defending her husband Leslie Moonves after several women accused him of sexual misconduct.

In a new investigation published by Ronan Farrow, six women over several decades were reportedly harassed by Leslie, including forcible touching or kissing during business meetings.

Leslie responded to the allegations, apologizing for ever making any women uncomfortable.

“I recognize that there were times decades ago when I may have made some women uncomfortable by making advances. Those were mistakes, and I regret them immensely. But I always understood and respected — and abided by the principle — that ‘no’ means ‘no,’ and I have never misused my position to harm or hinder anyone’s career,” Leslie said in part of his statement.

Julie also responded to defend her husband, writing, “I have known my husband, Leslie Moonves, since the mid-90s, and I have been married to him for almost 14 years. Leslie is a good man and loving father, devoted husband and inspiring corporate leader. He has always been a kind, decent and moral human being. I fully support my husband and stand behind him and his statement.”

Julie Chen just hilariously recreated an iconic Big Brother meme!

The longtime reality show host copied contestant Da’Vonne Rogers‘s entrance into the house which has become a super popular reaction GIF.

In the GIF, Da’Vonne opens the door with a huge smile and struts into the house.

Julie took to her Twitter to share the video recreating the scene.

Kelly recently lost 37 pounds and she revealed that she did it without exercising or getting a procedure!

“I wish I could do it. I’m afraid of it,” the 36-year-old singer on The Today Show last week about cosmetic surgery. “I do have friends that get it done. You look at your forehead and you’re like, ‘Yeah, there’s lines.’ And then I’m like, ‘It’s called Botulinum toxin. Who puts that on your face. It actually says toxin in the name!’”

Big Brother is coming back to CBS soon!

Season 20, set to be hosted by Julie Chen, will be back on Wednesday, June 27, at 8/7c with a two-hour episode. The news was announced on Twitter, and fans immediately began speculating if contestants would be all-stars from previous seasons, new contestants, or a mix of both.

As per usual, the show will air on Wednesday nights, Thursday nights, and Sunday nights on CBS throughout the summer until the winner is revealed.

The show will also be available to view on CBS All Access.
