Jesse Tyler Ferguson and his boyfriend Justin Mikita arrive at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party at the City of West Hollywood Park on Sunday (February 26) in West Hollywood, Calif.

“I think I’m gonna watch the big game with Elton John today,” the 36-year-old Modern Family actor tweeted on his way to the party.

During E!’s red carpet special earlier in the evening, Jesse‘s Modern Family co-star Sarah Hyland joined Giuliana Rancic and Kelly Osbourne in the studio to give her thoughts on the evening’s fashion.

The 36-year-old Modern Family star suited up for an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman.

“I’m in a bit of an emotional state. I’m on my way to appear on The Letterman Show. He’s been my favorite since I was a kid,” Jesse tweeted.

“Text from my brother after Letterman: ‘Tell Jack Hannah to bring less animals next time.’ #Family,” he wrote in another tweet.

Seminar is about four aspiring young novelists who sign up for private writing classes with Leonard (Alan Rickman), an international literary figure. Tensions build in the classroom, which results in a thrilling and hilarious wordplay.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and beau Justin Mikita share a smile at the 2011 OUT 100 celebration held at Skylight Soho on Thursday (November 17) in New York City.

The twosome was joined at the event by Kathy Griffin! Kathy, 51, and Jesse, 36, are both honorees on the Out 100 list, which includes the most influential men and women in the LGBT community.

“Will you be at the #out100 party tomorrow in NYC @kathygriffin? My hands are lonely and bored,” Jesse jokingly tweeted at Kathy in reference to their racy Out honoree picture.
