Emmy Rossum and her boyfriend, Justin Siegel, have reportedly gone their separate ways.

“They’ve been in a very tumultuous relationship,” an insider tells Life & Style. “They lived together for more than two years. It was close to marriage and I don’t think she wanted to be tied down this early in her career, and though she’d never say that – that’s the reason for the split. Emmy‘s really sad right now, it caught her by surprise.”

Siegel works Artists and Repertoire (A&R), the division of a record label that is responsible for scouting and artist development, for Interscope Records, a division of Interscope-Geffen-A&M. (Geffen is Emmy‘s music label. Her upcoming ambient pop album “Inside Out” drops October 23rd.) Justin‘s father is supposedly a rich Greek tycoon. Siegel was last romantically involved with Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls (he reportedly dumped her for Emmy).
