Here’s what the 30-year-old actress/singer had to share with the mag:
On NYC: “I love that city so much. There’s something not only cinematic about shooting there, but I just love the inspiration you find. I feel really engaged and inspired by stepping out the front door and just seeing what’s right in front of me.”
On fashion: “Living in New York allowed me access to inspiration on the streets and the ability to achieve that look on my own. Moving there made me more aware and it made me care more about what I was putting on my body. Like even if I was just going to set in the morning and no one was going to see me, it didn’t matter, because I cared.”
On Stalker: “What I liked the most about it was that it was a really different project from Smash and I was going to be able to tackle an even more grown-up character. Not so much in age, but you don’t see a lot of young single mothers who have their lives together on television.”
On her House Bunny co-stars: “Anna [Faris], Kat Dennings and I are all CBS family members now; I see them at events, and I’d sometimes run into Emma Stone on the streets of New York when I was living there. Besides Anna, we were all at the beginning of our careers back then. It has really been a fun group of people to be associated with. I wish we’d do some kind of fun reunion. That would be awesome.”
