Katie Hopkins is no longer allowed to use Twitter.
The controversial 45-year-old English media personality was permanently banned by Twitter for “hateful conduct,” the company confirmed Friday (June 19).

“Keeping Twitter safe is a top priority for us – abuse and hateful conduct have no place on our service and we will continue to take action when our rules are broken. In this case, the account has been permanently suspended for violations of our hateful conduct policy,” Twitter said in a statement.
They did not disclose what specifically led to the decision.
She has faced criticism over the years for her far-right views, and has repeatedly been retweeted by President Donald Trump. As recently as Wednesday, she mockingly tweeted about Black Lives Matter: “Today is #whiteoutwednesday. I will shortly be posting a picture of my arse. Thank you.”
According to The Independent, the UN intervened after she wrote a column in The Sun describing as “cockroaches” and “feral humans.”
A petition calling for her to be removed passed over 70,000 signatures.
President Trump recently threatened to shut down social media platforms.
