Kellan Lutz looks ready to run from Mexican actress Fernanda Romero at a photoshoot on Sunday (May 13) in Venice, Calif.

The 27-year-old Twilight actor was chained to a Chevy El Camino for part of the shoot.

The following day, Kellan tweeted, “To LIFE’S ADVENTURES…Live it up!”

Kellan has several upcoming projects, including starring in a new, fully-animated, motion capture version of the classic story Tarzan. The flick is expected to hit theaters later this year.

Ginnifer Goodwin and Kellan Lutz arrive in style to the 138th Kentucky Derby held at Churchill Downs on Saturday (May 5) in Louisville, Kentucky.

Kellan, 27, who was joined by his girlfriend Sharni Vinson, and Ginnifer, 33, hit the red carpet with Miranda Lambert.

“Get yer horsey hat on. Happy @KentuckyDerby!” Ginnifer tweeted. “I won $12.50!” she added.

Miranda seemed to hit the jackpot! “I’m lucky today! I won!” she tweeted, along with a picture of her holding several hundred dollar bills.

FYI: Ginnifer is wearing a Preen dress, H&M hat, Ann Taylor shoes, Giuseppe Zanotti clutch, and Bulgari jewels. Moet & Chandon helped sponsor the event.

Kellan wore a vineyard vines tie.

Miranda paired her Lela Rose dress with Charlotte Olympia shows, Collette jewelry, and a Giovannio hat.

“You look Beautiful! I love Kentucky! Derby time!” Kellan wrote on his Twitter page after retweeting a photo a fan took with him.

Sharni also tweeted saying, “The fried chicken really is better in Kentucky!”

Other celebs spotted at the event included Ashton Kutcher, Ginnifer Goodwin, and co-star (and real-life boyfriend) Josh Dallas.

Kellan Lutz is set to star as Tarzan in a fully animated, motion capture CGI film!

The 27-year-old Twilight actor will star opposite Spencer Locke (Resident Evil) as Jane Porter.

The film will be a modern adaptation of the classic story.

Here’s the synopsis (via THR): “Tarzan’s parents, billionaire adventurers, are now killed in airplane crash rather than being marooned with their child. And the movie’s villain is the CEO of Greystoke Energies, a man who took over the company from Tarzan’s deceased parents. Jane is the daughter of an African guide and is committed to the conservation and preservation of the African jungle. She eventually works with Tarzan to defeat the mercenary army of Greystoke Energies.”

Camilla Belle and Kellan Lutz attend the 2012 Tribeca Film Festival Awards party held at the Conrad Hotel on Thursday (April 26) in New York City.

The 25-year-old actress wore a Carven dress, Christian Louboutin shoes, and a Bvlgari clutch and jewelry.

Camilla, Kellan, and Leelee Sobieski (pictured inside) are all jurors in the Best New Narrative Director competition for the festival.

They awarded the prize to Lucy Mulloy, who directed the film Una Noche, which gained attention this week when two of its lead actors didn’t make it to New York from their home in Cuba.
