Twilight hit theaters 15 years ago today on November 21, 2008 and we’re taking a look back at the author’s dream casting for the roles, before the films were made.

Author Stephenie Meyer, who wrote the Twilight book series, shared a blog post she wrote from 2007 that has recently resurfaced with her original actor and actress choices to play the title characters in the movies!

Back in 2007, before the first movie was made, Stephenie wrote on her blog, “My opinions on the movie matter to no one. I have no influence on what goes on with the movie at all. No one is going to ask who I think should star in Twilight.”

So basically, Stephenie‘s opinions on who should be cast weren’t taken into consideration.

The original movies starred Kristen Stewart as Bella and Robert Pattinson as Edward.

Three of the Cullen siblings reunited, and Twilight fans around the world are loving it!

On Saturday (October 28), Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Jackson Rathbone got together again to attend MCM Comic Con in London, England.

If you forgot, they played three of Edward Cullen’s (Robert Pattinson) siblings – Emmett Cullen, Alice Cullen and Jasper Hale, respectively – in the mega-successful film franchise based on Stephenie Meyer‘s novels.

Thankfully, Kellan shared a couple of pictures from the event!

Twilight co-stars Kellan Lutz and Cam Gigandet are in the midst of filming a new project together.

The actors will join forces to help unravel a murder case in a thriller called Desert Dawn, which received permission to film during the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Kellan Lutz hit it big playing Emmett Cullen in Twilight, and it looks like he would be down to return to the franchise for a spinoff. Only he’d be playing a different character his second time around!

The 38-year-old actor portrayed the strongest member of the family of vampires in all five films. He took to social media on Saturday (September 9) to share a doctored movie poster that imagined him filling another role.
