The 28-year-old Twilight actor and the 29-year-old Step Up 3D actress arrived back on the west coast after a quick weekend getaway.

It was announced last week that Kellan will be playing the title role in Hercules 3D, an upcoming live action movie based on the legendary myth!

Kellan Lutz shares a laugh with his girlfriend Sharni Vinson while making their way through LAX Airport on Thursday (April 4) in Los Angeles.

It was just announced that the 28-year-old actor has signed on to star as the title role in the upcoming flick Hercules 3D, according to THR.

“It takes more than a good physique to portray the most legendary, mythological personality in history — and Kellan has exactly that, personality,” director Renny Harlin said in a statement. “He’s not afraid to explore the strengths and vulnerabilities of the character, and he impressed me with his passion and heart.”

The film is set to begin shooting in May.

The 28-year-old actor is featured in the mag to promote his new flick Java Heat, which will open in Indonesia on April 18 before hitting theaters in the states on May 10.

Java Heat follows an American (Lutz) in Indonesia who teams up with a Muslim cop to track down a terrorist.

Kellan is set to head to Indonesia from April 17-20 for the film’s premiere and a media tour. We can’t wait to see all the pics!
