Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett are officially splitting up.

The 32-year-old reality star and former Playboy model confirmed in a post on her social media on Friday (April 6) that she is ending her marriage after 8 years with the 35-year-old former NFL football player.

“Today is the last day of my marriage to this beautiful man. I will forever love Hank and be open but for now we have chosen to go our own ways. I’m beyond sad and heartbroken because i did believe in forever, that’s why i said yes but unfortunately too much fear has gotten in the way. We are both amazing parents and our kids will be happy n never know the difference other than seeing mama smile,” she wrote on her Instagram.

“Sometimes love looks funny. We are told to make sacrifices in life if it’s true love well in this case it’s me. I want to see happy Hank again… i miss that. Marriage was just a piece of paper and a piece of jewelry but our hearts will always be real. U will prob see us together a lot but it’s because there’s no hate. Love wins in this case it’s just looks a little funny. Thank you Hank for a beautiful 8 years of marriage and 2 beautiful kids. I feel so thankful and blessed. ❤️”

The two have an 8-year-old son, Hank IV, and a 3-year-old daughter, Alijah.

After rumors swirled, Kendra Wilkinson announced that she is splitting from her husband of almost nine years, Hank Baskett.

“10 years. I did everything I could. It wasn’t good enough,” Kendra said while fighting tears in a series of Instagram Story videos. “I will always love him. My heart will always remain open for him. I believed in forever I really did. Guess it’s just not meant to be. I’m so scared but I have to get strong for my kids. I will.”

After collecting herself, Kendra added, “Thank you to all my friends and family for supporting me at the moment. Every little ounce of love helps. Thank you.”

The couple have two kids together, son Hank Baskett IV, 8, and daughter Alijah Mary Baskett, 3.

Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett put on an united front as they step out to do some shopping on Wednesday afternoon (March 28) in Calabasas, Calif.

The 32-year-old former Playboy bunny and the 32-year-old retired NFL player spent the afternoon stocking up on some Easter goodies with their daughter Alijah, 3 (not pictured).

The couple’s outing comes one day after it was reported that the two were headed towards a split.

According to reports, Kendra and Hank have been a lot of trust issues that have been putting a strain on their relationship.

“Kendra is just not happy. They bicker all the time and she hasn’t been able to trust him,” a source tells People mag.

Hank allegedly cheated on a pregnant Kendra back in 2014 with a transgender model.

“They’re still talking, but it’s mostly for the kids. It’s really important to both of them that they don’t traumatize the kids,” the mag continues. “They’re going to try their best to have a graceful separation.”

Kendra and Hank married back in 2009 and share two children, Hank IV, 8, and Alijah, 3.

Chris Pratt and Josh Duhamel brought their adorable sons to the Monster Jam celebrity event at Angel Stadium on Saturday (February 24) in Anaheim, Calif.

Josh was seen hanging with his four-year-old son with Fergie, Axl, and Chris was seen hanging with his five-year-old son with Anna Faris, Jack.

Kendra Wilkinson released a statement through E! News mourning her loss.

“Hef changed my life,” Kendra said. “He made me the person I am today. I couldn’t be more thankful for our friendship and our time together. I will miss him so much but he will be in my heart forever.”

Kendra was one of Hef‘s girlfriends along with Holly Madison and Bridget Marquardt from 2004 to 2009 and starred on the reality show The Girls Next Door which followed their lives at the Playboy Mansion. Kendra and Hef remained close friends after their breakup.

Back in the early 2000s, Kendra found fame as one of Hugh‘s girlfriends along with Holly Madison.

In 2009, Kendra moved out of the Playboy mansion and met her husband Hank Baskett.

Since then, Kendra and Hugh have remained very close and she has continuously thanked Hugh for the impact he’s had on her life.
