Katy Perry is openly revealing the song from her catalogue that she has trouble singing while performing live.
During the latest episode of American Idol, country singer Kenedee Rittenhouse left the judges on the fence during her audition and they noted that her vocals didn’t knock them out of the park.
“I know you don’t look for excuses, but I go places and I sing ‘Firework,’ it’s like my favorite song ever,” Kenedee replied.
Katy then said, “Sing ‘Firework’ because I can barely sing ‘Firework.’ Just sing the chorus, because that’s the hardest part.”
After Kenedee hit all the notes, including a high note at the end, Katy was impressed and said, “Good for you. She can hit it.”
