“When you work really hard at something, then to have it taken away from you is pretty devastating,” the 28-year-old artist told Noisey in a new interview while breaking down in tears.
Unfortunately in February, a judge denied Kesha‘s request to end her contract with Dr. Luke and Sony.
“I worked my ass off for a lot of years to be able to do it: I sang backup vocals and the first couple songs I was on, I didn’t give a f–k ‘cause I just had this one vision. Once you earn that and make that happen, then to have it taken away from you is pretty devastating. It is definitely a mind f–k.”
Back in August, Kesha decided to drop her sexual assault case against Dr. Luke in order to focus on her comeback in the music business.
Since then, Kesha has been back working in the studio and hopes to release new music soon.
