Kevin Bacon shows off his shirtless self as he walks to his towel after diving in the ocean on Saturday (December 31) in Hawaii.

The 53-year-old actor was joined on the beach by his wife Kyra Sedgwick, 46, who showed off her svelte figure in a two toned bikini! The couple also brought along their kids Travis and Sosie.

Kyra‘s hit show The Closer is set for its final season this summer. Kyra has won numerous awards for her portrayal of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson.

Meanwhile, Kevin has been filming for his next movie R.I.P.D. up in Boston, Mass. The flick also stars Ryan Reynolds and Jeff Bridges.

Ryan was joined on the set by his co-star Kevin Bacon, who walked a dog on a leash around the block.

The 34-year-old actor was joined on set by his co-star Kevin Bacon.

R.I.P.D. is about a recently slain cop (Reynolds) who joins a team of undead police officers working for the Rest in Peace Department, and tries to find the man who murdered him.

The film is set for a June 2013 release date!

Kevin Bacon will be playing an unknown villian in the upcoming superhero origins flick, X-Men: First Class.

The 52-year-old actor will be joining Winter’s Bone breakout actress Jennifer Lawrence as shape-shifting Mystique, according to THR.

In the Matthew Vaughn-directed pic, the twosome will join James McAvoy as Professor X, Michael Fassbender as Magneto, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Lucas Till as Havoc, Caleb Landry Jones as Banshee, Aaron Johnson as Cyclops, and Alice Eve as Emma Frost.

The Closer star Kyra Sedgwick (in vintage Chanel) hits the red carpet at the 2009 SAG Awards (Screen Actors Guild) held at the Shrine Auditorium on Saturday (January 25) in Los Angeles.

The 43-year-old actress, who accessorized with a Fred Leighton necklace, was accompanied by her husband Kevin Bacon (in Calvin Klein) and their daughter Sosie, 16.

When asked how they’ve stayed married for 20 years, Kevin responded, “You have to keep the fights clean and the sex dirty.” Kyra laughed and said, “I knew he was going to use that line. Come on, it’s the SAG Awards. You gotta blur the edges a little!”

During the ceremony, Kyra and Mad Men presented 30 Rock‘s Alec Baldwin with the “Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series” Award.
