Kevin Spacey Faces Sexual Battery Lawsuit Following 2016 Incident

Kevin Spacey is being sued for alleged sexual battery following an incident in 2016.

The 59-year-old actor is facing a lawsuit from an unidentified male masseuse on counts of assault, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment, according to documents obtained by The Blast.

The masseuse claims that he was invited to Kevin‘s home and while giving the massage, the actor repeatedly grabbed his hand and pulled it onto his groin.

After the masseuse refused, Kevin reportedly attempted to kiss the man and blocked him from leaving the home.

According to the lawsuit, the masseuse is seeking unspecified damages.

The new lawsuit comes almost a year after actor Anthony Rapp as well as House of Cards of employees accused Kevin making inappropriate sexual advances.

Kevin Spacey’s character, Frank Underwood, has been killed off for the sixth and final season of House of Cards.

A new promo was released moments ago showing Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) speaking to her husband’s grave.

“I’ll tell you this though, Francis,” Claire says. “When they bury me, it won’t be in my backyard. And when they pay their respects, they’ll have to wait in line.”

You then see Frank’s gravestone next to his dads gravestone.

The final season is set to debut on Netflix on November 2.

Robin Wright poses in her blues for the cover of PorterEdit‘s latest issue.

The actress opened up to the mag about the final season of her Netflix series House of Cards and the Kevin Spacey scandal, which rocked the set of the show. Here is what she shared:

On whether she feels Kevin Spacey deserves a career reprieve: “I don’t know how to comment on that, I really don’t… I believe every human being has the ability to reform. Has the ability to reform. In that sense, second chances, or whatever you are going to call it – absolutely, I believe in that. It’s called growth.”

On how close House of Cards came to being axed after the sexual misconduct allegations against Spacey: “[It came] very, very close [to being axed]. Because of the climate at that time. The air was thick, you know. Harvey Weinstein… People were [saying], ‘We have to shut everything down or otherwise it will look like we are glorifying and honoring this thing that’s dirty.’”

Kevin Spacey's New Movie Grosses Just $126 on Opening Day

Kevin Spacey‘s new movie Billionaire Boys Club is in theaters now, but barely anyone is interested in seeing it.

The film opened in 10 theaters around the country on Friday (August 17) after being available on VOD for the past month.

According to THR, the movie only grossed $126 total for the full opening day. That means about 13 or 14 people went to see the movie. It’s worth noting that movies available first on VOD don’t generally gross that much in theaters, but this is an amount much lower than usual.

Spacey was accused of sexual assault by many men over the past year, but distributor Vertical Entertainment decided to release the movie anyways as it was produced years before the allegations were publicly known. The studio said, “In the end, we hope audiences make up their own minds as to the reprehensible allegations of one person’s past, but not at the expense of the entire cast and crew present on this film.”

Ansel Elgort, Taron Egerton, Emma Roberts, Jeremy Irvine, Billie Lourd, and others star in the film and Spacey plays a small, supporting role.

“We were coworkers, really. We never socialized outside of work. [It was a] respectful, professional relationship,” Robin expressed. “He was so great with me. He was never disrespectful to me, so that’s my personal experience. That’s the only thing that I feel I have the right to talk about.”

“I think we were all surprised, of course, and ultimately saddened,” Robin added about finding out about the allegations. “We forged ahead and we were so thankful that we were able to complete the series as planned.”
