Ireland Baldwin says goodbye to her friend after having lunch together at Health Nut on Tuesday (July 3) in Woodland Hills, Calif.

The 16-year-old daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger is back on the west coast after attending her father’s wedding to Hilaria Thomas in NYC over the weekend.

“Health Nut is whatever. I don’t know why everyone’s obsessed,” Ireland tweeted after having what seems to be an underwhelming meal.

Ireland spent time with her dad and new step-mother the morning after the wedding in a New York City park.

Alec Baldwin, his new wife Hilaria Thomas, and his daughter Ireland sit in a park the morning after his wedding on Sunday (July 1) in New York City.

The next day, the happy family went grocery shopping in the East Village neighborhood.

Alec recently took the cover of Vanity Fair‘s August 2012 issue, which hits newsstands July 5!

“I thought, I’m probably never going to meet somebody like this again, and so I decided I would get married,” Alec told the mag. “And I am getting married—which is kind of mind-blowing to me.”

Alec Baldwin‘s 16-year-old daughter Ireland steps out in New York City during the afternoon before his wedding on Saturday (June 30).

The 54-year-old 30 Rock actor is set to marry his fiancee Hilaria Thomas this evening at Old St. Patrick’s Cathedral in the Big Apple.

The evening before, Alec and Ireland, whose mother is actress Kim Basinger, partied the night away with family members in Soho.

Have the stresses of the custody dispute with ex-hubby Alec Baldwin over daughter Ireland, 11, taken its toll on mommy Kim?

“Thank you to everyone who has posted messages of suppport and understanding. Naturally, it is not best for a parent to lose their temper with their child. Everyone who knows me privately knows that I have endured a great deal over the last several years in my custody litigation.

Everyone who knows me privately knows that certain people will go to any lengths to embarass me and to disrupt my relationship with my daughter. In such public cases, your opponents attempt to take a picture of you on your worst day and insist that this is who you are as a person.

Outside the doors of divorce court, I have friends, I have respect from people I work with and I have a normal relationship with my daughter. All of that is threatened whenever one enters a court room.

Although I have been told by numerous people not to worry too much, as all parents lose their patience with their kids, I am most saddened that this was released to the media because of what it does to a child.

I’m sorry, as everyone who knows me is aware, for losing my temper with my child. I have been driven to the edge by parental alienation for many years now. You have to go through this to understand. (Although I hope you never do.)

I am sorry for what happened. But I am equally sorry that a court order was violated, which had deliberately been put under seal in this case. Once my book is published, I’m sure more people will understand the incredible strains created by parental alienation.

In the meantime, I’m sorry to anyone who’s taken offense from this episode.”
