Here's How Kendall Jenner Reacted to That Pepsi Ad Behind Closed Doors

You may remember that Kendall Jenner protest-themed Pepsi commercial that caused a ton of controversy back in April.

Now, Kim Kardashian is speaking out about Kendall’s true response to the ad and the backlash that followed.

Kim told THR, “We’re not perfect, but you see these things in the media, like Kendall and [her Pepsi ad that was accused of trivializing Black Lives Matter], where I see her at home crying, but in the media she looks another way because she’s not addressing it. I’m just like, ‘This is wrong. You need to speak up.’ She was like, ‘I don’t ever want to show that footage of me crying.’ She was trying to not make excuses or be dramatic, but that was what she was going through at the time.”

The Kardashians Cover 'THR,' Reveal the One 'KUWTK' Scene They Had to Edit

The Kardashian and Jenner women – Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, Kylie, and Kris, are on the cover of THR‘s jam-packed issue talking about their empire!

Here’s what the reality stars and business moguls had to share with the mag:

Kim, on what was the most difficult scene to film: “The most difficult thing [to film] was probably Caitlyn‘s transition and just seeing my mom and Khloe having such a hard time. We never really edited content before, but we did edit a bit of Khloe’s reaction just because she was so upset.” Khloe adds: “If I act a certain way, I act a certain way, but I just knew in my head this needed to be a four-hour episode. This is so real, and I want to ask every question I have, but also I want honest answers.”

Kourtney, on filming her breakup with Scott Disick: “The hardest episode to film was my break-up with Scott [Disick]. I had a lot of anxiety about it, and finally said let’s just get this over with. I sat down and started crying. You go through something, and then you move past it. Then you do your interview, and get all riled up again. And then you see the episode, and start seeing all these comments [on social media].”

Kris, on Caitlyn’s notion that she came up with the idea for KUWTK: “It’s so absurd. I’m not sure what the motivation was for her to say something like that. Maybe somebody should remind her that it’s called Keeping Up With the Kardashians.”

Kim Kardashian Describes Her Feelings Leading Up to Kris Humphries Wedding

Kim Kardashian opened up to THR about her 72-day marriage to NBA player Kris Humphries back in 2011.

The 36-year-old reality star spoke about filming the wedding, saying, “There was all this attention on the wedding, and I thought maybe it was just the pressure of the show giving me this anxiety. My friends told me I just had cold feet, but even the producers said, ‘You don’t seem happy. You don’t have to go through with this.’”

Kim continued, “The night before, my mom pulled me aside, off camera, and was like, ‘This isn’t it for you. Why don’t you go away and I’ll handle it?’ I felt like, if I pulled out now, everyone’s going to think I just did it for the show. Then afterwards, people were saying, ‘You have to stay married for a year,’ but I physically couldn’t do it. When I made the decision [to divorce], everyone said it was made up for the show. Everyone really wanted to take me down.”

“Think about this realistically: If it was for the show don’t you think we would have found someone that signed off? Someone OK with getting married and getting divorced two months later? If it’s for a show don’t you think you’d want as little legal trouble as possible? This was real emotions, real feelings. People f*ck up,” Kim added.

Kim Kardashian Issues Apology For Defending Jeffree Star's Racist Comments

Kim Kardashian is apologizing for defending makeup artist Jeffree Star, who has made racist comments in the past.

The 36-year-old reality star took to her Snapchat to thank Jeffree for his feedback on her swatching skills and asked her fans to stop attacking him and bringing up the “negative” issues from his past.

After receiving criticism for defending Jeffree, Kim took to her Snapchat again to clarify her remarks.

“So I really wanted to apologize to you guys and my fans for defending a situation yesterday that I really didn’t know enough about. I just feel a bit naïve, and I do want to really apologize for me feeling like I had the right to say ‘get over it’ in a situation that involves racism,” Kim said.

She continued, “I just don’t really feel like I have the right to speak on that, and I really, really, really am sorry. From the bottom of my heart, I’ve always been about positivity and I’ve never been a negative person, so my whole thing was: ‘Hey guys, I don’t want to see negativity in my timeline or my mentions, let’s just move forward — let’s be positive and move past this.’”

“My last message is that I do believe that people are born to love and born with love, and they are taught to hate. So I have always had hopes that people can change and that people can learn to be better and do better, and learn to find that love again. So never give up hope. That is my message for the day and that’s always been what I’m trying to say. I believe in people changing, I believe in people just being better, and I’ll never give that up. I just want people to be positive,” Kim concluded.

I welcome honest comments about my products and because of it, I’m swatching better now,” Kim continued.
