Kim Petras is back with a new bop called “brr.”
The 30-year-old “Heart to Break” pop star is kicked off the new year after celebrating one high after another in 2022. She topped the charts alongside Sam Smith with their anthem “Unholy,” which also nabbed them a nomination at the 2023 Grammys.
Now, she’s offering a taste of something new with her frosty single, which was produced by Ariana Grande‘s frequent collaborator ILYA.

The 30-year-old hitmakers linked up for the track earlier this month, and the bop went viral upon release.
Now, “Unholy” has officially debuted at the top spot on the Official Charts in the U.K. This marks Sam‘s eighth No. 1 and Kim‘s first.

Sam Smith and Kim Petras are joining forces.
The 30-year-old pop superstars teamed up for a new track called “Unholy,” out on Thursday (September 22).
The song also acts as the lead single from Sam’s highly anticipated fourth studio album.
The track is centered around an Arabic scale, as Sam calls out a cheating husband who steps out to have some fun at a “body shop.” Kim’s part of the song tells the story from a dancer’s point of view.
The song was produced in Jamaica alongside ILYA, Blake Slatkin, Cirkut, Omer Fendi and long-time collaborator Jimmy Napes.

Christina Aguilera hits the stage at LA Pride’s Official In-Person Music Event “LA Pride In The Park,” presented by Christopher Street West (CSW), at Los Angeles Historical Park on Saturday (June 11) in Los Angeles.
The 41-year-old pop icon performed her hits like “Dirrty,” (and she paid homage to the song’s original music video in her tight red ensemble) “Bionic,” “Lady Marmalade,” and “Beautiful,” along with a duet with Kim Petras of “XXX.”
At one point, Christina came on stage with a phallic strap on attached and fans went wild!
Other performers included Anitta, Mya, Zolita, Syd, Bob the Drag Queen, and Paris Hilton, who DJ’d!
