Jimi Westbrook, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, and Philip Sweet of the country music band Little Big Town walk the red carpet at the 2018 Grammy Awards held at Madison Square Garden on Sunday (January 28) in New York City.

The group is nominated for two awards tonight, one of which they’ve already won, and they are also set to perform during the show.

LBT won the award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Better Man” during the pre-show and they are also nominated for Best Country Album, which will be announced during the main show.

“Better Man,” which was written by Taylor Swift, was nominated for Best Country Song, but lost to Chris Stapleton‘s “Broken Halos.”

Little Big Town have arrived at the 2017 CMA Awards!

The group – Jimi Westbrook, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, and Philip Sweet – stepped out for the big night at the Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday (November 8) in Nashville, Tenn.

They are nominated for Vocal Group of the Year, Album of the Year for The Breaker, and Single of the Year and Video of the Year for “Better Man,” which was written by Taylor Swift.

Little Big Town will also be hitting the stage for a performance.

The longtime band was also joined on the carpet by another group, Little Big Town.

The two groups are up against each other in the Vocal Group of the Year category. Best of luck to all the nominees!

Little Big Town is opening up about why they believe Taylor Swift will always be a Nashville songwriter at heart.

The 27-year-old “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” singer wrote the hit song “Better Man” for the country group.

While Taylor has now broken records in the pop genre, Little Big Town insists she hasn’t completely parted with her country roots.

“She’s a Nashville songwriter,” Little Big Town‘s Karen Fairchild told USA Today. “When you write a song like “Better Man” top to bottom on your own with your acoustic guitar, that’s Nashville. She’s a storyteller. She loves country music. Her last record was more poppy but who knows? Taylor can do anything she wants to. And she will forever be a Nashville girl.”

Little Big Town take to the stage during the 2017 Grammy Awards held at the Staples Center on Sunday (February 12) in Los Angeles.

The bandmates – Jimi Westbrook, Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman, and Philip Sweet – performed their own rendition of Katy Perry‘s hit song “Teenage Dream” as they introduced her performance at the Grammys!

Earlier in the night, Little Big Town hit the red carpet for the show where the ladies looked stylish in shades of purple as the guys suited up for the event.

Kimberly Schlapman has welcomed a new baby girl to her family!

The 47-year-old Little Big Town singer made the announcement on her Instagram account on Thursday (January 12).

“The New Year brought our family new love,” Kimberly captioned a photo of herself with her fam – husband Stephen Schlapman, their oldest daughter Daisy, 9, and their newest addition (below). “We’re so excited to introduce you to Daisy‘s little sister, Dolly Grace. ❤️”
