Jordan's Crown Prince Hussein Marries Rajwa Al Saif In Royal Wedding; Prince William & Kate Middleton Make Surprise Appearance!

Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif are married!

The heir to the Jordanian throne wed Rajwa in a gorgeous royal wedding in Amman, Jordan on Thursday afternoon (June 1), in front of their family, friends, and the who’s who of royal couples and heirs.

The UK’s William and Catherine, Prince and Princess of Wales, made a surprise appearance at the nuptials alongside Princess Beatrice and her husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi; The Netherlands’ King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima attended with their eldest daughter, Princess Catharina-Amalia; Sweden’s Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel; and Belgium’s King Phillippe and his heir, Princess Elisabeth, were also there.

Denmark’s Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Norway’s Crown Prince Haakon, and Spain’s King and Queen Emeritus Juan Carlos and Sofia also attended.

USA’s First Lady Jill Biden was also there with her daughter, Ashley Biden.

Rajwa was walked down the aisle by her new brother-in-law, Prince Hashem, as Hussein‘s sisters Princesses Iman and Salma followed.

Hussein‘s parents – Queen Rania and King Abdullah II – were already seated at Zahran Palace.

Following the ceremony and signing of the marriage contract, Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa were driven in the “Sheer Rover” to their reception.

Rajwa will now be styled as Her Royal Highness Princess Rajwa Al Hussein.

Her dress was a custom Elie Saab gown that featured over 13 lbs of pearls, crystals and beads.

Princess Iman just had her own royal wedding a few months ago.

Dutch King Willem-Alexander & Family Celebrated Kings Day by Driving In A Very Interesting Car

King Willem-Alexander and his daughter, Princess Catharina-Amalia of The Netherlands make their grand entrance for Kingsday on Tuesday afternoon (April 27) in Eindhoven, Netherlands.

The 54-year-old monarch and Amalia, who will succeed him on the throne, were joined by Queen Maxima, and Princesses Alexia and Ariane, for the celebration.

To kick the celebration off, the royal family paid a visit to the DAF Museum in the city and got to drive a few of the vehicles there.

Willem-Alexander and Amalia rode in a vintage 1960s DAF Beach Car, while Maxima and her other two daughters were seen driving behind them in a more modern DAF car.

The Dutch royal family also stopped by the High Tech Campus and participated in a special TV show, that was live-streamed to the Dutch public.

The Netherlands' Queen Maxima Rewears Yellow Dress For Official Socially Distanced Parliament Opening

Queen Maxima of The Netherlands stole the spotlight during the opening event of the parliamentary year Prinsjesdag (Prince’s Day) in the Grote Kerk on Monday (September 15) in The Hague, Netherlands.

The -year-old royal joined husband, King Willem-Alexander, and other members of the royal family for the event, which was socially distanced due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Prinsjesdag was changed even more from past years, and the royal family removed the carriage ride and changed the location from the Hall of Knights, as to create more space for the members of parliament.

Just a few weeks earlier, Maxima, who re-wore one of her more recognizable looks, and Willem-Alexander, shared an apology for their own actions in recent weeks when they were seen not being properly socially distanced from another person while on vacation in Greece.

FYI: Maxima is wearing a Claes Iversen gown with matching gold gloves.

Other royal family members around Europe have also made public apologies for their actions during the pandemic.

Dutch King Willem-Alexander & Queen Maxima Celebrate Kings' Day 2020 With Video Calls From Family

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands celebrate 2020 King’s Day with their daughters at the Huis ten Bosch Palace on Monday afternoon (April 27) in The Hague, Netherlands.

The Dutch royal family – including Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Alexia and Princess Ariane – celebrated the King’s 53rd birthday at their residence and reunited with the rest of the royal family with video calls, due to the pandemic.

Princess Beatrix, Prince Constantijn, Princess Laurentien, and many other Dutch royals called in to toast the King.

During the small event, Queen Maxima and her daughters also launched a digital free market, which is one of the traditions of the annual celebration.

The market supports KiKa, a foundation for research into childhood cancers.

Dutch Royals King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima & Daughters Thank Medical Professionals From Social Isolation

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands are in social isolation following their family trip to Austria last month.

The reigning monarchs and their three daughters – Princess Catharina-Amalia, Princess Alexia, and Princess Ariane – are bunkering down together after their getaway which was taken with several others of their family.

The Netherlands Government Information Service, also known as the RVD, announced that the family are practicing “social distancing in connection with the coronavirus COVID-19 during their recent winter holiday in Lech, Austria.”

The announcement revealed that where they vacationed had “five confirmed corona infections” and they’re isolation is expected to continue until March 21.

While in isolation, the royals are making the best of their time and even recorded a thank you message for all the medical professionals risking their own lives to better everyone elses.
