The Oscar-nominated actor is seen as Daniel Craig‘s character Benoit Blanc’s domestic partner, though many people have not realized that their relationship was implied by the appearance.

Halfway through the film, Hugh is seen answering the door to their apartment while Benoit is in the bathtub.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is a hit!

The Netflix whodunnit directed by Rian Johnson, the second in the Knives Out franchise, became the top streamed English language film for the week of December 26 to January 1, via Deadline.

According to the streamer, the movie averaged 127.25M hours in its first full week since release, plus the 82.1M viewing hours from the first two days it was on the platform.

Glass Onion is now in the Top 10 most popular Netflix movies of all time list, and still has time to climb higher on the chart.

The director of the film spoke out in an interview with The Atlantic about the title of his latest production.

During the conversation, he said that he wanted to make the current Netflix movie and the original 2019 film Knives Out feel like stories that can exist on their own, with the only tie being Daniel Craig, who plays Benoit Blanc.
