Vanessa Bryant Reveals Names of LAPD Officers Who Took Photos Of Late Husband Kobe Bryant's Remains After Helicopter Crash

Vanessa Bryant has released court documents that revealed the names of the officers who took photographs of Kobe Bryant‘s remains following the tragic helicopter crash that claimed his life, as well as their daughter, Gianna Bryant, and seven others last year.

In a series of posts on her Instagram, Vanessa let her followers read the lawsuit in full.

At one point in the suit docs it reads that one of the officers, who did not have an active role in the investigation “shared the photos with a personal friend with whom he played video games with every night”.

Vanessa filed the suit against the Los Angeles County, the sheriff’s department and LA County Sheriff Alex Villanueva in September of 2020, following reports of the officers sharing the images months earlier in March.

The lawsuit cites emotional distress, negligence and invasion of privacy.

“At the moment the deputies snapped photos of Kobe and Gianna’s remains, they created a harm that cannot be undone, and the Department’s response has only exacerbated that harm,” the lawsuit says.

Vanessa has also filed another wrongful death lawsuit against the helicopter company operator, Island Express Helicopters.

“Vanessa Bryant revealed the names of those disgraceful police officers thats shared that shared the images . Good on her,” one fan wrote of the widow sharing it.

Another added, “The fact that Vanessa Bryant didn’t burn down this entire police station is incredible to me. I feel sick reading this.”

Vanessa Bryant Gets Candid About Grief After the Loss of Kobe & Gigi Bryant

Vanessa Bryant is reflecting.

The 38-year-old widow of Kobe Bryant spoke out about the tragic loss of her husband and 13-year-old daughter Gianna in a 2020 helicopter crash in an interview with People.

“I can’t say that I’m strong every day. I can’t say that there aren’t days when I feel like I can’t survive to the next,” she admitted.

“This pain is unimaginable [but] you just have to get up and push forward. Lying in bed crying isn’t going to change the fact that my family will never be the same again. But getting out of bed and pushing forward is going to make the day better for my girls and for me. So that’s what I do,” she continued.

“I guess the best way to describe it is that Kobe and Gigi motivate me to keep going. They inspire me to try harder and be better every day. Their love is unconditional and they motivate me in so many different ways.”

Vanessa Bryant Slams Evan Rachel Wood for Calling Kobe a Rapist After His Death

Vanessa Bryant is speaking out in response to a tweet that Evan Rachel Wood wrote about her late husband Kobe Bryant, just hours after he tragically passed away in a helicopter crash last year.

The Westworld actress sparked tons of outrage for her tweets back in January 2020, but Vanessa is first seeing them now and decided to respond.

“What has happened is tragic. I am heartbroken for Kobe‘s family. He was a sports hero. He was also a rapist. And all of these truths can exist simultaneously,” Evan wrote in one tweet.

For those that don’t know, Kobe was accused of sexual assault back in 2003, but the charges were dropped after his accuser refused to testify. A civil case later was filed and a settlement was reached, though Kobe is presumed innocent in the eyes of the law.
