Kristen Wiig looks homely in a floral dress while filming a scene for her new romantic comedy Hateship, Friendship on Tuesday (October 23) in New Orleans, La.

The 39-year-old actress will be joined in the indie flick by Guy Pearce, Hailee Steinfeld, and Nick Nolte.

Hateship, Friendship is based on a book of short stories by Alice Munro and focuses on a troubled young girl (Steinfeld) who uses email to create a romance between her nanny (Wiig) and her recovering addict father (Pearce).

Kristen Wiig keeps its elegant while attending the 2012 Elle Women in Hollywood celebration held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Monday (October 15) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 39-year-old actress was joined on the white carpet by Teresa Palmer, Christa B. Allen, and Ashley Madekwe.

Nick Wechsler and Zoe Kazan were also seen posing at the event.

At the event, Kristen accepted an award and said, “I haven’t pooped in four days. I’m serious. I’ve been traveling and I’m nervous about tonight. I’m wearing this tight dress and it’s uncomfortable. I’m getting concerned. I’ll take something tonight, I promise.”

Kristen Wiig and Merritt Wever hit the red carpet at the 2012 Emmy Awards held at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday (September 23) in Los Angeles.

The ladies were both nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series, but lost out to Modern Family‘s Julie Bowen.

Kristen, in a Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière gown, Jimmy Choo pumps, and Fred Leighton jewels, was nominated for her work on Saturday Night Live. Merritt, who wore William Goldberg jewelry, was nominated for her work on Nurse Jackie.

Kristen Wiig hits the front row at the Marc Jacobs Spring 2013 fashion show held at the N.Y. State Armory on Monday (September 10) in New York City.

The 39-year-old actress, who attended the event as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, was joined at the show by Ricky Martin, along with Rose Byrne, Hailee Steinfeld, Rachel Zoe with hubby Rodger Berman, Kelly Osbourne, and Marc Jacobs himself!

“We designed. We displayed. And now, we dance. #marcfam #NYFW” the Marc Jacobs International Twitter account tweeted after the presentation.

Kristen Wiig keeps it classy at the premiere of her new film Imogene during the 2012 Toronto Film Festival on Friday (September 7) in Toronto, Canada.

The 38-year-old actress’ co-star Darren Criss was also spotted on the red carpet.

Their upcoming film Imogene is centered on a playwright (Wiig) who “stages a suicide in an attempt to win back her ex, only to wind up in the custody of her gambling-addict mother.”

Jaime King and her husband Kyle Newman attend the Lexus Laws of Attraction event held at Meteon on Monday (July 30) in San Francisco, Calif.

Kristen Wiig rocks a Tom Ford suit on the cover of Marie Claire‘s August 2012 issue, on newsstands July 17.

Here is what the 38-year-old former Saturday Night Live actress had to share with the mag:

On her happiness: “I will say that I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I feel very lucky. [Because of] where I am now. Who he [boyfriend, Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti] is. Those are the two big ones.”

On leaving SNL, after seven years: “I know a lot of people probably assume, ‘Oh, she’s leaving because she is going to be doing movies now and things like that,’ which I will be. But I just always knew it was going to be seven and that was it. I think maybe if I were 22, I could see myself staying a little bit, but it just felt like the right time. [Still], it was very emotional. I just wanted to get through it without breaking down in every sketch. Because nothing says comedy like breaking down.”
