Kristoffer Polaha took the stage at Oaks Christian School earlier this month not just as a proud dad to son Caleb, but also as the school’s keynote speaker.
The fan favorite Hallmark Channel actor dressed up in robes to deliver the graduation commencement speech, and at one point even tries to burst out in a Bob Dylan song.
The two leading actors met up with so many of their co-stars/channel mates at That’s4Entertainment’s 2023 ChristmasCon held at Overland Park Convention Center in Kansas City earlier this week.
Over the weekend, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries aired a marathon of the signature mystery franchise, which starred Jill Wagner and Kristoffer Polaha, and it was almost immediately afterwards that a network official replied to a fan on social media about the future of the series.
Kristoffer Polaha angrily tosses food at a co-worker in the very first look at his upcoming film, The Shift.
The upcoming movie will also star Neal McDonough and Sean Astin, and will center on Kristoffer‘s character, Kevin, who finds himself in a dystopian world confronted by a mysterious stranger known as “The Benefactor” who presents him with challenges as he fights to shift realities and return to the woman he loves.
Just Jared recently spoke to Kristoffer about the film, which he just wrapped up a few months ago.
“It’s a really fascinating movie about a multiverse, and trying to find love,” he told us. “It’s weird. It’s almost like a dark Hallmark movie (laughs). The relationship really is the thing, the hinge that is the driving force of the narrative.”
Kristoffer added that the concept of the movie is that “every choice we make splits us off into another, a parallel world where, you know, you ask that question like, is there a world where, you know, such and such can happen? And there this, and then this, and the character that I play can travel through all of those worlds. He can travel through the multiverse and he does so in search of this, the love of his life.”
He also noted that the film shoot was intense and he “had my a** handed to me (laughs) 16 times over. It was the hardest job I’ve ever had in my life, but it was such a thrill from the first up to the last.”
“To get to know your crew on that level and to get to be a part of that, and invested in the storytelling, it really was a dream come true,” Kristoffer added. “It’s what you hope for when you’re a little boy and you want to grow up and be an actor. I mean, I got to do all sorts of stuff. I played 12 different characters and I mean, it’s crazy. It’s gonna be a fun movie.”

Kristoffer Polaha‘s 17th project with Hallmark, A Winning Team, is debuting tonight, and in honor of that, JustJared is ranking all of his movies!
Speaking with the 46-year-old actor earlier this week, he opened up to us about the gratefulness he feels for being part of the network.
“It’s certainly something I take a lot of pride in. I think when I hit 20, I’ll make a, I’ll make a show of it,” he shared with us. “I think any actor that gets to do what he loves doing for a living and work with regularity has to count his blessings.”
Kristoffer added that he’s been “overwhelmed by the fan base that Hallmark has, but then also the company itself.”
“I’ve never worked with a group of people that are more collaborative and I hate to overuse this word, but truly like loving, like you always say show business, it’s a business, but it really does feel like there’s a lot of friendships that are made. Even on the executive level and working with people at Hallmark, it feels like a really cool community to be a part of.”
