Miles Teller was the original actor attached to star in La La Land before the role went to Ryan Gosling, but Miles is now clearing up a big rumor about the part.

A story was published over the weekend claiming he wanted way more money for the role than was originally offered.

“‘reporting’ alternative facts,” Miles tweeted about the article.

“I’m a pretty strong believer that everything happens for a reason. I’m happy Damien made the film he wanted to make… I don’t get jealous of good reviews,” Miles previously said of not doing the role.

Emma Watson was also originally linked to Emma Stone‘s role in the film, but things did not work out.

Ryan Gosling is feeling all the La La Land love this week!

The critically-acclimated movie musical, which also stars Emma Stone, received a whopping fourteen nominations at the 2017 Oscars this year – tying for the most of all time!

The film will be going up for Best Picture and Best Director for Damien Chazelle, while Ryan will be facing off against Casey Affleck, Andrew Garfield, Viggo Mortensen and Denzel Washington in the Best Actor category.

La La Land received a whopping fourteen nominations at the 2017 Oscars this year – tying for the most of all time!

Previous films to also receive fourteen noms include Titanic and All About Eve.

The film will be going up for Best Picture and Best Director for Damien Chazelle. Both leads, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, also received nominations for their acting work in the film.

Hidden Figures is at the top of this weekend’s box office with a whopping $20.5 million earned!

The film, which stars Janelle Monae, Octavia Spencer, and Taraji P. Henson, is projected to make $25.3 over the long weekend, Variety reports.

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone‘s La La Land came in at number two this weekend with $14.5 earned. Animated hit Sing came in third, earning $13.8 this weekend.

Rounding out the top five are Rogue One: A Star Wars Story with $13.7 and The Bye Bye Man with $13.3 coming in at fourth and fifth, respectively.

Ben Affleck‘s Live By Night only made $5.4 million at the box office with disappointing numbers. Martin Scorsese‘s Silence also did not perform well with only $2 million earned.

The new movie musical La La Land has been winning over audiences and winning tons of awards as well, and now it looks like there’s a possibility of it being turned into a stage show!

Lionsgate released the movie, starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, and the studio’s co-president Erik Feig told investors that a live stage show could happen some day.

“If we want to do a stage show, we can do a stage show,” he said (via THR).

The studio previously turned the dance franchise Step Up into a stage show, currently playing in Dubai, and he pointed to that as an example.

We sure would love to see La La Land on Broadway one day!

Will we ever see Ryan Gosling on television again?

The 36-year-old Golden Globe winner recently revealed which show he would love to appear on.

“I don’t know if there’s a place for me on the show Atlanta but I’m a big fan of that show,” Ryan told U.K.’s Metro.

He added, “I think it’s pretty great. There’s a lot of good TV out there right now.”

Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone are having an amazing week. After their movie La La Land broke a record at the Golden Globes, the co-stars flew to Paris to promote the film!

The 28-year-old actress and the 36-year-old actor hit the red carpet for the premiere on Tuesday night (January 10) at UGC Normandie in Paris, France.

Ryan and Emma were joined at the event by writer/director Damien Chazelle, who brought girlfriend Olivia Hamilton.
