Lady Gaga Stuns in Sheer Gown While Supporting Bradley Cooper at American Cinematheque Event

Lady Gaga looks amazing in a sheer gown on the red carpet at the 2018 American Cinematheque Award Presentation on Thursday night (November 29) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 32-year-old singer and actress attended the event to support honoree Bradley Cooper.

Bradley wrote, directed, and co-starred in A Star is Born with Gaga. He was joined on the red carpet by his Silver Linings Playbook and American Hustle director David O. Russell.

Gaga and Bradley were both announced as winners of awards from the National Board of Review earlier in the week.

FYI: Gaga is wearing an Azzedine Alaia dress and Amwaj diamond earrings. Bradley is wearing Gucci.

Lady Gaga, Nicole Kidman, & More Cover THR's Actress Roundtable Issue

Awards season contenders Lady Gaga, Glenn Close, Kathryn Hahn, Nicole Kidman, Regina King, and Rachel Weisz are on the cover of THR‘s Actress Roundtable issue!

Here’s what the stars had to share…

Rachel, on the problem with “strong woman character”: “I have a real problem with the idea of ‘strong women characters.’ Well, does that mean we have muscles or something? No one ever says that to a man. But [I want] young girls growing up [to] see stories being told where a woman takes a central role. Where she is not peripheral to the story. She’s driving the story, and so, you as a kid can go, ‘Oh, that’s me. I can identify.’ So, it’s like a funny thing that [these stories] are coming together as women have been speaking up about harassment … The Favourite apparently took 20 years to make. Because there is lesbianism and three females at the center of it.”

Regina, on the one part she wants to play: “A Joan of Arc-type character. Someone in history that wasn’t black but I thought was a pretty amazing woman … wouldn’t it be fantastic if I did play Joan of Arc?”

Gaga, on the long road to A Star Is Born: “I wanted to be an actress before I wanted to be a singer or musician … For many years, I have created characters for myself. Because I did not make it as an actress. So, I made characters that I could be — so that I could be one. They were always in some way related to the woman that I wanted to sing to, and a part of me. So, like for my album Joanne, I had this vision of a woman with a baby in one hand and a pinot grigio in the other, in cutoff jeans. And her hair wild and in a bun .. With Bradley [Cooper], what I did was, I said, ‘OK, I’m going to have to become someone that I do not have complete control over.’ I dyed my hair very early, before we started filming. I started to dress like her. I was writing music for the soundtrack and helping to hone Ally’s sound, which was essentially something that was going to arise out of Jackson’s sound, because she fell in love with him. I wanted Ally to be nothing like me. This was very important to me because the truth is, I am nothing like Ally. I created Gaga.”

Lady Gaga Wins First Big Award for 'A Star Is Born' - Full National Board of Review Winners List!

Every year, film critic groups around the country announce their own picks for the top movies of the year and the National Board of Review‘s choices are here!

Green Book was named the Best Film of 2018 and another big winner is A Star Is Born, which was awarded Best Director for Bradley Cooper, Best Actress for Lady Gaga, and Best Supporting Actor for Sam Elliott.

Green Book‘s Viggo Mortensen won the Best Actor award and If Beale Street Could Talk‘s Regina King won Best Supporting Actress.

The cast of Crazy Rich Asians is set to be honored with the Best Ensemble award and you can expect many more stars to be in attendance as well.

The National Board of Review also revealed their Top 10 Films of the year.

Lady Gaga Can't Stop Playing This Video Game!

You may not have expected Lady Gaga to be a video game player, but she totally is one!

The 32-year-old singer and actress took to Twitter this weekend to confess that she can’t stop playing the hack and slash video game Bayonetta.

Earlier this month, Gaga tweeted, “When you beat Chapter IV of Bayonetta and then realize Chapter V is going to kick your ass ☠️😂 secret #gamergirl THE SHADOW REMAINS TOUGH!!!!!!”

Now, Gaga admitted to fans that she still is playing the game!

In the early hours of the morning on Saturday (November 24), Gaga tweeted, “Still playing #Bayonetta middle of chapter XIII and my hands hurt and I have to sleep and it’s 4 In the damn morning but this damn dragon with the face that I have to kill with my weave. Smh. Give it another go in the morning #gamer respect to the experts I need emotional support.”

Lady Gaga is looking so chic!

The 32-year-old A Star Is Born actress hit the red carpet at the 2018 Governors Awards on Sunday night (November 18) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.

Diane Warren, who co-penned “Why Did You Do That?” on the soundtrack of A Star Is Born, also attended the event, as well as Gaga‘s co-star Sam Elliott.

A Star Is Born, starring and directed by Bradley Cooper, was released in theaters on October 5.
