Lady Gaga Pulled Over By Police 2 Weeks After Getting License

Lady Gaga took to Twitter last night to clear up that she was pulled over for the first time by police, just two weeks after getting her driver’s license.

The 30-year-old singer and actress explained what happened when officers pulled her over in her Ford F-150 SVT Lightning on the Pacific Coast Highway this weekend.

Lady Gaga Wasn't Eligible for 'Til It Happens to You' Emmy Nom

Lady Gaga‘s song “Til It Happens to You” received an Emmy nomination today for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, but she is not eligible as part of the nomination.

Diane Warren is the sole nominee on the ticket, despite Gaga being included for the song’s Oscar and Grammy nominations. The song is featured in the film The Hunting Ground, which was aired on CNN.

EMMY NOMINATIONS: See the full list here!

While the Oscars and the Grammys don’t have an eligibility bar to determine how much an artist contributed to a song, the Emmys require an artist to have put in 20% or more of the work to receive a nomination.

“The minimum cue sheet percentage for eligibility is 20 percent. Diane and Gaga worked it out internally that Diane had 90 percent, so Gaga was not eligible and hence did not join Diane on the entry form,” a representative for the Television Academy told Billboard.
