Eminem is causing great controversy with his new music video for “SHADY CXVPHER” featuring Crooked I, Joe Budden, Yelawolf, Joell Ortiz and Royce Da 5’9″, where he raps about punching Lana Del Rey in the face and the Ray Rice domestic violence scandal from earlier this year.
“But I may fight for gay rights, especially if they d*ke is more of a knockout than Janay Rice/Play nice? B*tch I’ll punch Lana Del Rey right in the face twice, like Ray Rice in broad daylight in the plain sight of the elevator surveillance/’Til her head is banging on the railing, then celebrate with the Ravens,” the 42-year-old rapper says in his song.
After hearing the song, rapper Azealia Banks came to Lana‘s aid, tweeting, “But does Eminem know that I will personally punch him in his mouth?!” which has since been taken down.
Lana previously professed her love for Eminem in a 2012 interview with PopCrush, saying, “I f—ing love Eminem.”
Ray, a former Baltimore Ravens player, was suspended from the NFL after a video of him surfaced abusing his wife in an elevator.
