Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., best known for winning the sixth season of America’s Got Talent in 2011, was arrested on charges of domestic violence.
The 42-year-old singer reportedly got into a fight with his girlfriend and was accused of attacking her with a golf club, according to TMZ.
The fight took place on Monday night (July 10) at his home in Whitman, West Virginia. Landau allegedly told his girlfriend that he was leaving her and an argument broke out over who would care for their infant child.
Landau‘s manager claims that he came home to find the place trashed and that his girlfriend started attacking him. He says he was just defending himself and apologized for what happened.
