The stars of the new movie musical Cats stepped out for the world premiere!

Jennifer Hudson, Idris Elba, James Corden, Rebel Wilson, and newcomer Francesca Hayward were among the stars who walked the red carpet at Lincoln Center on Monday night (December 16) in New York City.

Also in attendance were Taylor Swift, Jason Derulo, Robbie Fairchild, Laurie Davidson, and dancers Les Twins.

Idris was joined on the red carpet by his wife Sabrina.

FYI: Jennifer is wearing a Reem Acra dress and Christian Louboutin shoes. Taylor is wearing an Oscar de la Renta dress, Chloe Gosselin shoes, Maxior earrings, and rings by Borgioni and Beladora. Francesca is wearing Miu Miu. Laurie is wearing a Stella McCartney jacket and trousers, a Sandro turtleneck, and Chelsea boots. Rebel is wearing an Eloquii dress.

Rebel Wilson, Francesca Hayward and Jennifer Hudson happily strike a pose together on the blue carpet while attending their photo call for their anticipated film Cats held at The Corinthia Hotel on Friday (December 13) in London, England.

The three ladies were joined at the event by their co-stars Laurie Davidson, Sir Ian McKellen, Jason Derulo, Robbie Fairchild, Larry Bourgeois and Laurent Bourgeois, as well as the film’s writer-director Tom Hooper.

Earlier in the week, just Francesca Hayward and Jason Derulo attended their first photo call for Cats in Berlin.

Taylor Swift, who also stars in the film, was not able to make it out to the photo call due to her attendance at last night’s 2019 Billboard’s Women in Music event, where she was honored with the Woman of the Decade Award.

Ian McKellen and Helen Mirren happily embrace each other on the red carpet while attending the world premiere of The Good Liar held at the BFI Southbank on Monday (October 28) in London, England.

The 80-year-old actor and the 74-year-old Oscar winner were joined at the event by their co-stars Russell Tovey, Jim Carter, Spike White, Nell Williams, Stella Stocker, Laurie Davidson and Michael Culkin.

The film follows a career con artist (Ian) who meets a well-to-do widow (Helen) online. While the widow opens up her home and life to him, he’s surprised to find himself having feelings for her and changing the cut-and-dry swindle that he had planned.

We finally have been given our first look at the Cats movie and now we know what the actors will look like as cats!

Ever since a film version of the classic Broadway musical was announced, fans have been wondering how director Tom Hooper would portray the cats on screen.

“We’ve used digital fur technology to create the most perfect covering of fur,” Tom has said.

Taylor Swift, James Corden, Idris Elba, and Jennifer Hudson lead the star-studded cast of actors and singers who are bringing the musical to life on the big screen.

“Tom‘s pairing them with a level of technology which I don’t think has ever been used before,” James said. “These are people, but they’re cats, and this is kinda of blowing my mind. There is nothing else like it.

The Cats movie musical has added Laurie Davidson to the cast!

The 26-year-old actor is best known for playing the title role of William Shakespeare in the TNT series Will, which was his first professional on-screen role.

Laurie recently wrapped work on the upcoming movie The Good Liar alongside screen legends Helen Mirren and Ian McKellen. That movie is directed by Bill Condon, who worked on movie musicals like Chicago, Dreamgirls, and Beauty and the Beast.

Davidson‘s role in Cats is under wraps for now, according to Deadline.

TNT has canceled the new series Will after just one season on the air.

The show followed a young William Shakespeare, played by newcomer Laurie Davidson, as a young poet in a punk-rock theater scene.

Will sadly didn’t gain an audience and it averaged just 670,000 total viewers and a low 0.2 ratings in the 18-49 demo, according to THR.

TNT has some exciting shows coming in the future, including Dakota Fanning‘s The Alienist. A pilot was ordered for a Snowpiercer series, based on the popular film.
