Here’s what the 23-year-old musician had to say…

On posting his own music in 2015: “It just felt different…like something I had to do. It was just really personal to me. So I decided to put it out with zero expectations just to reconnect with that avenue of true self-expression.”

On his success: “Honestly, my mind moves so quickly that sometimes I have trouble truly realizing how crazy all of this is and how much 14-year-old Ari would’ve killed to be here.”

On finding real happiness: “I’ve found where the real happiness in my life is coming from – the literal creation process and from playing shows. I see all the tangible goals of things like playing MSG [Madison Square Garden] and getting Grammys as a sign of something bigger and more important. I never want anything to be forced in life, so for me that level of success really means creating something much bigger than yourself that can reach and connect a lot of people. So I stay focused on creating music as true to me and the moment as possible.”

Maddie Ziegler, Olivia Holt, and Sabrina Carpenter hit the red carpet at the 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Friday (June 22) in Los Angeles.

The three ladies were joined at the event by other Young Hollywood stars, including Olivia‘s Cloak & Dagger co-star Aubrey Joseph, Raven Symone, Bailee Madison with boyfriend Alex Lange, Even Stevens‘ Christy Carlson Romano, Bunk’d‘s Skai Jackson, American Idol‘s Maddie Poppe, Dancing With the Stars‘ Witney Carson, and musicians Noah Cyrus, Lauv, and Echosmith.

The 2018 Radio Disney Music Awards will take place TONIGHT and air on Saturday (June 23) on Disney Channel, Radio Disney, the Radio Disney app, and the DisneyNOW app.

Lauv is back at it yet again with not one, but two brand new tracks: “Bracelet” and “Paranoid“!

Both tracks have been added to the 23-year-old singer-songwriter-producer’s ongoing playlist project, titled I met you when I was 18.

The collection of songs were all written by Lauv during a significant period in his life as a student at New York University, and follow a theme of young love and self-actualization.

“Every song off I met you when I was 18 is DONE. This music means the world to me, and we had a plan to roll the last four songs out slowly, but I’ve hit a point where I can’t hold onto them any longer,” Lauv wrote on Twitter.

“Bracelet” and “Paranoid” are also available to stream on Spotify and download on iTunes!

Lauv is back at it again with a brand new song titled “Chasing Fire,” and you can stream it right here!

The track is the 23-year-old singer-songwriter-producer’s follow-up single to his hit “I Like Me Better,” which has surpassed 500 million streams, garnered platinum certifications in 7 countries, gold certifications in 3, and scanned platinum in the U.S. and is currently #17 on the Top 40 radio chart.

“”Chasing Fire‘ is about fighting for something that’s already over,” Lauv said in a statement about the song. “It’s the beginning of the end. It’s desperation. It’s grand. But it’s hopeless.”

DJ Snake is back at it again with a brand new single called “A Different Way” featuring rising singer-songwriter Lauv!

The track, which premiered yesterday (September 21) on Zane Lowe‘s World Record on Beats 1, was written by DJ Snake, Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Lindy Robbins, Ilsey Juber and Johnny McDaid.

“A Different Way” is also DJ Snake‘s first new material since the release of his debut album Encore, which featured the hits “Middle” and “Let Me Love You” with Justin Bieber.

Lauv is blowing up with his new song “I Like Me Better” and he’s opening up about the meaning behind his name and also the correct pronunciation in this new video, premiering exclusively on JustJared.com.

The 23-year-old singer, whose real name is Ari Staprans Leff, told us that he is “excited to set the record straight on how to pronounce my name and to share a bit of my story” with the release of the video!

“My mom’s side of the family is from a country called Latvia. I just remember looking up what the Latvian word for lion was, because Ari means lion and I’m a Leo,” he says in the video about the inspiration for his stage name. “And I found lauva. So I got rid of the A and it was Lauv. And it just felt right.”

Camila Cabello is all smiles as she hits the stage at the Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival on Sunday (August 20) at the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York.

The 20-year-old entertainer delivered a 35-minute performance that included her singles “OMG,” “Havana,” and her best-known solo songs — “Crying In the Club” and Machine Gun Kelly collaboration “Bad Things.”
