VIDEO: Jay-Z Helps Honor LeBron James & Michael Phelps At Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Awards 2016!

Jay-Z is all smiles while posing on stage alongside LeBron James and his award during the 2016 Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year Ceremony held at Barclays Center on Monday (December 12) in the Brooklyn borough of New York City.

“He is a dedicated family man, who married his childhood sweetheart, Savannah. Has three lovely children, the son who honors and worships his mother, Gloria. The friend who put his pose in position – we know where we come from! The only difference between us and someone who has their MBA… is opportunity,” the 47-year-old rapper expressed. “LeBron James has provided his friends with that opportunity. But, tonight we say thank you. Not just for your commitment to basketball, but for all you’ve done for the community. And thank you for how you’ve enriched the lives of all those around you. You messed around and got a triple double in real life – I wrote that joke myself.”

Also in attendance was DJ Khaled, Ashley Graham and her husband Justin Ervin, Peyton Manning, Aly Raisman, models Hailey Clauson and Tanya Mityushina, and honoree Michael Phelps with his wife Nicole Johnson.

Michael was honored as the greatest Olympian of all time by fellow Olympian gymnast Aly.

“For me being able to have one more year where I came back and finished things exactly how I wanted,” Michael said during his speech. “I know there are some people out there who know what that feels like, I feel like I’m on top of the world. I was able to get married this year, have my first child. I literally feel like the luckiest man in the world.”

Which 'The Wall' Trailer Interests You More? Watch Now!

There are two very different entertainment properties titled The Wall coming soon and both of the trailers were just released!

One project is NBC’s new game show The Wall, which is being produced by LeBron James and hosted by Chris Hardwick, and features teams answering questions and sending balls down a giant wall to land in various dollar amounts. Correctly answered questions get a green ball and those values are added to the team’s total and red balls fall when questions are answered incorrectly, with those values deducted from the total.

Another project titled The Wall is the upcoming psychological thriller movie starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson and John Cena. The film follows two soldiers pinned down by an Iraqi sniper, with nothing but a crumbling wall between them. Their fight becomes as much a battle of will and wits as it is of lethally accurate marksmanship.

LeBron James Endorses Hillary Clinton in Op-Ed Article

LeBron James has written an op-ed article to explain why he is endorsing Hillary Clinton to be the President of the United States.

“When I look at this year’s presidential race, it’s clear which candidate believes the same thing. Only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty. And when I think about the kinds of policies and ideas the kids in my foundation need from our government, the choice is clear,” the 31-year-old basketball player said. “That candidate is Hillary Clinton.”

“I support Hillary because she will build on the legacy of my good friend, President Barack Obama. I believe in what President Obama has done for our country and support her commitment to continuing that legacy,” LeBron added.
