Lea Michele flaunts some skin on the new November 2015 cover of Women’s Health magazine.
Here’s what the 29-year-old Scream Queens star had to share with the mag:
On how she manages stress: “When I get stressed, I think that for me, I just live a very active life. No matter what, if I can just go for a nice hike, or if I can have a little glass of wine, or eat good food, that always is my best medicine.”
On her fears in life: “I really don’t like to be in a car with more than five people—that really freaks me out because I’m always afraid the tires are going to pop. It’s this super weird thing that I’m afraid of. Or a boat with a lot of people.”
On things she’s learned about herself by keeping journals: “The journaling for me was always a place that I felt that I could write down whatever I wanted and never had to be embarrassed. So here I was, from New York and working on Broadway, and it’s hard coming from that world and trying to make a place for yourself, whether it would be in film or TV. I would write things down that I would be embarrassed to say to people because I was told so often growing up that I wasn’t pretty enough, or that I needed plastic surgery, or that I wouldn’t be pretty enough for the pretty girl, or whatever that there wasn’t a place for me in television, I was too ethnic and what not. All these horrible things, but I would still write down ‘I’m gonna get a TV show,’ and ‘I’m gonna make an album,’ and ‘I’m gonna do these things,’ and despite what everyone was telling me outside that private time, I wrote it down and I really made it happen. It’s a private space for you to just express yourself and write down the things that you want to do, whether or not you feel like you have the encouragement from the outside world. This is a place where you can just be with yourself and manifest it.”
