Norman Reedus waves to the fans while stepping out for The Walking Dead panel held during 2017 Comic-Con on Friday afternoon (July 21) in San Diego, Calif.

Other cast members in attendance included Andrew Lincoln, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Melissa McBride, Danai Gurira, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Lennie James, Seth Gilliam, and Khary Payton.

The trailer for season eight was unveiled during the panel and showrunner Scott M. Gimple also paid tribute to John Bernecker, the stuntman who died after an on-set accident earlier this month.

“We didn’t know if we should do this panel today. But we wanted to be here for you and do something for John,” he said (via THR). “John was someone who was beloved in the stunt community. He was living his dream, and he helped other people do the same.”

The on-screen couple of Maggie and Glenn was joined at the event by co-stars Andrew Lincoln (Rick), Norman Reedus (Daryl), Danai Gurira (Michonne), Melissa McBride (Carol), Michael Cudlitz (Abraham), Lennie James (Morgan), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha), Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Negan), Josh McDermitt (Eugene), Christian Serratos (Rosita), Alanna Masterson (Tara), Seth Gilliam (Gabriel), Ross Marquand (Aaron), Tom Payne (Jesus), and Austin Amelio (Dwight).

The full cast of the show gathered to discuss the season seven premiere right after it aired and the victims of Negan were revealed. Two people were killed off in the episode and it was shocking to see the violent deaths.

Jaimie Alexander shows off her legs in a gold mini-skirt while attending the Entertainment Weekly Party held during 2015 San Diego Comic-Con at FLOAT at The Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday (July 11) in San Diego, Calif.

The 31-year-old Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D actress was joined by Salem stars Janet Montgomery, Elise Eberle, and Ashley Madekwe and her husband Iddo Goldberg.

Also in attendance were Sleepy Hollow‘s Lyndie Greenwood, Grey’s Anatomy‘s Camilla Luddington, Grimm‘s David Giuntoli and Claire Coffee, and The Walking Dead stars Danai Gurira, Steven Yeun, Michael Cudlitz, Lennie James, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Sarah Wayne Callies.

Earlier in the day, David and Claire hit up the Grimm panel.

Norman Reedus gets together with Steven Yeun at the 2013 AMC Upfront held at the 69th Regiment Armory on Wednesday (April 17) in New York City.

The Walking Dead actors were joined at the event by their co-stars Danai Gurira, Lennie James, Mad Men stars Jessica Pare and Rich Sommer, The Killing actress Mireille Enos, Low Winter Sun star Mark Strong, Hell On Wheels stars Anson Mount and Common, and Breaking Bad stars RJ Mitte and Betsy Brandt.

The cable network announced that they have greenlit a Breaking Bad talk show, renewed The Talking Dead and that seven scripted and three unscripted projects are in development.
