Leonardo DiCaprio Releases Statement About Harvey Weinstein Scandal

Leonardo DiCaprio has released a statement about Harvey Weinsten‘s multiple sexual harassment allegations.

The 42-year-old actor took to Facebook to release a statement slamming the 65-year-old producer, while applauding the women have spoken out against him.

“There is no excuse for sexual harassment or sexual assault — no matter who you are and no matter what profession. I applaud the strength and courage of the women who came forward and made their voices heard,” Leo wrote.

Earlier that same day, it was revealed that Harvey‘s wife Georgina Chapman is leaving him while it was reported that he will enter a treatment facility.

Leonardo DiCaprio Visits Museums in Paris with Friends

Leonardo DiCaprio goes on a sightseeing tour through the Park Jardin des Tuileries with some friends on Saturday (September 30) in Paris, France.

The 42-year-old actor was joined by his best friend Lukas Haas and some models, whose names reportedly are Juliette Perkins and Candice Blackburn.

The group was seen checking out the Musee de l’Orangeri before taking a stroll around the park.

Leo was in Europe last weekend to be honored at a gala in Monaco for his work to save the environment.

Kate Winslet Reveals If She & Leonardo DiCaprio Ever Had Feelings for Each Other

Kate Winslet went on the Lorraine show on Tuesday (October 3) and is about to break your heart with what she revealed in her interview.

The actress revealed that she and Leonardo DiCaprio never had romantic feelings towards one another and she knows that fans wish they did!

“I think for Leo and I it was seven months of very intense work, we were both really very young,” Kate said. “And luckily, and this was the fortunate thing, we never fancied each other!”

“I know that’s really annoying to hear, sorry,” she continued. “We really never did. So it did mean that we were able to have this… be able to tease each other, which we still do, which is really amazing.”

Leonardo DiCaprio Rubs Shoulders with Royalty at a Gala to Save the Ocean

Leonardo DiCaprio poses for a photo with Prince Albert and Princess Charlene while attending the Inaugural Monte Carlo Gala for the Global Ocean on Thursday (September 28) at the Monaco Garnier Opera in Monaco.

The 42-year-old actor was honored at the event for his work to better the environment.

“As head of a state bordered by the sea, I have made ocean conservation a priority. It’s a key issue because it is a crucial concern for the future of mankind,” Prince Albert told Vogue in a statement. “It is time to stop taking our ocean for granted and to start looking after its precious resources.”

“Clean air, water, and a livable climate are inalienable human rights. And solving this crisis is not a question of politics, it is a question of our own survival,” Leo added.

Leo‘s friend Adrien Brody was also in attendance at the gala.

Leonardo DiCaprio Is Playing Theodore Roosevelt in a Martin Scorsese Biopic

Leonardo DiCaprio just landed a new role as former president Theodore Roosevelt.

The Paramount Pictures biopic, called Roosevelt, will be directed by Martin Scorsese.

The former president’s achievements in conservation are particularly of interest to Leo – whose own foundation is dedicated to environmental conservation, climate change, and indigenous rights – which is why he chose to play the part according to Deadline.

Leo and Marin previously worked together on several movies including The Wolf of Wall Street, The Departed and The Aviator, and are currently developing more films together, including The Devil in the White City and Killers of the Flower Moon.

Leonardo DiCaprio has taken on a new role – he is an investor and advisor for a virtual reality start-up company called MindMaze!

The Oscar-winning actor released a statement praising the company for impacting lives through its new technology.

Leonardo DiCaprio's Foundation Awards $20 Million in Environmental Grants

Leonardo DiCaprio‘s foundation is awarding $20 million in grants in his hope to make the world a more environmentally friendly place.

The $20 million will be spread across more than 100 organizations and it increases his foundation’s total direct financial impact to over $80 million since 1998.

“We are proud to support the work of over 100 organizations at home and abroad. These grantees are active on the ground, protecting our oceans, forests and endangered species for future generations – and tackling the urgent, existential challenges of climate change,” Leo said in a speech delivered to a climate change conference at Yale University on Tuesday (September 19).

Leo has called for urgent action to move to a world powered by renewable energy instead of relying on fossil fuels.

“There exist today many proven technologies in renewable energy, clean transportation, and sustainable agriculture, that we can begin a build a brighter future for all of us,” he said. “Our challenge is to find new ways to power our lives, employ millions of people and turn every individual into an advocate for clean air and drinkable water. We must demand that politicians accept climate science and make bold commitments before it is too late.”
