Dominic West, David Oyelowo, and Lily Collins will lead the cast of an upcoming six-part mini-series adaptation of the classic novel Les Miserables!

The upcoming project will not be adapted from the smash hit musical, which was turned into an Oscar-winning film in 2012.

Lily will play Fantine while the cast also includes Adeel Akhtar and Olivia Colman as Monsieur and Madame Thénardier, Ellie Bamber as Cosette, Josh O’Connor as Marius, and Erin Kellyman as Eponine.

The mini-series will be produced by BBC and A&E Networks with filming beginning in February 2018 in Belgium and Northern France.

This Pop Version of 'Les Miserables' Is All Sorts of Awesome!

We’ve seen many actors and singers take a stab at songs from Les Miserables, but this pop version of the musical is a super original one that we’re loving!

Natalie Weiss, a Broadway performer who has appeared in the stage production of the classic musical, performed a medley of songs from the show all with a pop twist during her recent concert in London.

During the medley, you’ll hear Christina Aguilera‘s “Beautiful,” Mariah Carey‘s “Hero,” and more woven into the melody of the songs. So cool!

If you haven’t seen Les Miserables yet, check out the recent film version starring Hugh Jackman or check out the current Broadway revival live in New York City.
