JoJo has just landed her latest acting role!

The 26-year-old entertainer will be guest starring on the upcoming second season of Lethal Weapon.

JoJo will be playing Shaye, a musician who is “nearly killed when a mysterious figure from her past drives her car off the road,” EW reports.

Over the past few years, JoJo has been working on creating her new record label Clover Music.

JoJo has starred in films like Aquamarine and G.B.F.

Lethal Weapon returns on Fox on September 26.

Fox’s hot new show Lethal Weapon has been given a full season order by the network!

The show stars Damon Wayans and Clayne Crawford and is a re-imagination of the movie franchise of the same name. The Fox comedy will follow the classic cop duo Riggs and Murtaugh, who work a crime-ridden beat in modern-day Los Angeles.

Lethal Weapon premiered a few weeks ago, and was the highest fall premiere in two years! There are now 18 episodes in the first season.

Jordana Brewster sports a cute denim dress while out shopping with a friend on Friday (August 19) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The week before, the 36-year-old actress attended the 2016 Summer TCA Tour Fox All-Star Party along with her Lethal Weapon co-stars Johnathan Fernandez, Kevin Rahm, Keesha Sharp, Clayne Crawford, and Damon Wayons in Los Angeles.

Jordana recently posted a pic from set while filming new scenes for the upcoming series.

“Not a bad day at the office #lethalweapon,” she captioned the Instagram photo (below).

Clayne Crawford is set to take on the role of Martin Riggs in the upcoming Lethal Weapon television pilot!

The 37-year-old actor will be playing the role made famous by Mel Gibson in the film series.

The series will follow “Texas cop and former Navy SEAL Martin Riggs, [who] suffers the loss of his wife and baby [and] moves to Los Angeles to start anew. There, he gets partnered with LAPD detective Roger Murtaugh (Damon Wayans Sr.) who, having recently suffered a ‘minor’ heart attack, must avoid any stress in his life,” according to THR.

Also set to star in the new Fox series are Jordana Brewster, Kevin Rahm, and Golden Brooks.

Damon Wayans will be starring in a new pilot for Fox based on the Lethal Weapon film franchise!

The 55-year-old actor will play Roger Murtaugh, played by Danny Glover in the original film.

Here is the series’ synopsis (via EW): “When Texas cop and former Navy SEAL Martin Riggs (not yet cast) suffers the loss of his wife and baby, he moves to Los Angeles to start anew. There, he gets partnered with LAPD detective Roger Murtaugh (Wayans), who, having recently suffered a ‘minor’ heart attack, must avoid any stress in his life.”

McG will director the pilot and Chuck‘s Matt Miller will be the showrunner.
