Johnny Depp Becomes The Big Bad Wolf on One of Four New 'Into the Woods' EW Covers!

Johny Depp is blue and hairy as the Big Bad Wolf on this special Into the Woods cover of Entertainment Weekly!

The 51-year-old actor stars as the famous fairytale character opposite Lilla Crawford‘s Little Red Riding Hood.

Three other Movie Preview covers feature Emily Blunt and James Corden as the Baker’s Wife and Baker, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella and Chris Pine as her Prince, and MacKenzie Mauzy as Rapunzel and Meryl Streep The Witch. Check them out below!

“I didn’t want this to look like a cartoon world,” director Rob Marshall told the mag. “It’s not sunny, sunny, sunny—we wanted a sense of danger.”

It’s here! The trailer for the highly-anticipated movie musical version of Into the Woods has just been released!

The adaptation stars Emily Blunt and James Corden as the Baker’s Wife and Baker, Anna Kendrick as Cinderella, Chris Pine as her Prince, Johnny Depp (though mostly hidden) as the Wolf, Meryl Streep as the Witch, MacKenzie Mauzy as Rapunzel, Billy Magnussen as Rapunzel’s Prince, Daniel Huttlestone as Jack, Tracy Ullman as Jack’s mom, Lilla Crawford as Little Red Riding Hood, Lucy Punch and Tammy Blanchard as the step sisters and Christine Baranski as their mom.

Lilla Crawford Replaces Sophia Grace in 'Into the Woods'

Broadway actress Lilla Crawford will be playing the the role of Little Red Riding Hood in the movie musical Into the Woods, a part previously believed to be given to television personality Sophia Grace Brownlee.

Disney has confirmed that Lilla, who most recently originated the title role in the Broadway revival of Annie, will be playing the “smart and spunky girl who journeys into the woods, finding unexpected adventures along the way.”

Last month, it was reported that Sophia Grace, who is known for her appearances on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, would be playing the role.

“Sophia Grace is starring in the movie ‘Into the Woods’ w/ Meryl Streep! The role of a lifetime. Also big for Sophia,” Ellen DeGeneres had tweeted.

Jane Lynch: Tony Awards 2013 Red Carpet with Lilla Crawford!

Jane Lynch hits the red carpet at the 2013 Tony Awards held at Radio City Music Hall on Sunday (June 9) in New York City.

The 52-year-old actress will be performing during the evening with the cast of her Broadway show Annie. She was joined on the carpet by Lilla Crawford, who plays the title role in the show.

Jane will perform the song “Little Girls,” which Lilla and the orphans will sing “Hard Knock Life.” Watch below!
