The 44-year-old actress takes on the role of the Evil Queen, something she initially was hesitant to do.

“I was like, this is a terrible idea. I was against it a thousand percent,” Julia told Extra.

“[But] I’m such a fan of [director] Tarsem [Singh] and fell so under his spell! It was pretty fun,” she explained.

Julia also shared she felt “awful” with how her character treated co-star Lily, who plays Snow White.

“I was terrible. I think I might’ve slapped her once for no reason! Just because she’s pretty!” Julia joked.

Mirror, Mirror also stars Armie Hammer and Nathan Lane and hits theaters March 16!

Felicity Jones hits Bulgari‘s holiday party held at Sherbourne on Wednesday (December 7) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Jenna Dewan and Lily Collins, who met up with Juno Temple, also came out for the soiree, where guests dined on tuna tartar, truffle chicken pasta, plank roasted salmon and chocolate chip bread pudding.

They were also asked to bring a gently used day bag to donate to Dress for Success and in return received a new bag from Bulgari!

Earlier in the day, Lily and Felicity made an appearance at The Hollywood Reporter‘s Power 100: Women in Entertainment Breakfast in Beverly Hills.

Lily, 22, wore BCBG Max Azria, while Shailene, 20, wore Prabal Gurung.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Lily Collins walk the red carpet at the opening night performance of the Broadway play Seminar on Sunday (November 20) at the Golden Theatre in New York City.

The 36-year-old Modern Family actor and former Broadway star was joined by his boyfriend Justin Mikita.

“Was going 2 see Other Desert Cities but Stockard Channing is out sick! Hope she gets better! We’ll catch it next time! Off 2 enjoy NYC sun!” Jesse tweeted about his Broadway plans earlier in the weekend.

Seminar is about four aspiring young novelists who sign up for private writing classes with Leonard (Alan Rickman), an international literary figure. Tensions build in the classroom, which results in a thrilling and hilarious wordplay.

Here’s the film’s synopsis: “An evil Queen (Julia Roberts) steals control of a kingdom, and an exiled princess (Collins) enlists the help of seven resourceful rebels to win back her birthright in a spirited adventure comedy filled with jealousy, romance, and betrayal that will capture the imagination of audiences the world over.”

Armie Hammer takes on the role of Prince Andrew Alcott, while Nathan Lane plays Brighton, the hapless, bungling servant to the Queen.

Mirror, Mirror hits theaters March 16, 2012!

Elle Fanning and Hailee Steinfeld attend the Chanel Intimate Dinner held at the Chanel boutique on Thursday (October 27) in Los Angeles.

The 13-year-old actress and Hailee, 14, were both dressed head to toe in Chanel.
