Lainey Wilson made the 2022 CMA Awards a very special night for her and her dad.

The 30-year-old musician and Yellowstone actress hit the red carpet with her dad, Brian, on Wednesday night (November 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Just last month, Brian suffered a stroke, following an infection that cost him an eye, which makes him being at the event much more special.

“My daddy is going to walk the CMAs carpet with me,” Lainey told the NY Post in an interview. “He was sick [with a fungal infection caused by diabetic ketoacidosis] this summer, and we didn’t think that he was gonna make it. He spent two weeks in ICU and a few weeks in a rehab facility. But he has been working really hard to get to the point where he can walk me on the carpet.”

Wynonna Judd, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde, Lindsay Ell, Elle King and husband Dan Tooker, Little Big Town, Lady A, and Lainey‘s Yellowstone co-star Cole Hauser were also seen at the event.

Dave Haywood, Hillary Scott and Charles Kelley hit the red carpet at the 2021 CMT Artist of the Year held on Wednesday night (October 13) in Nashville, Tenn.

The trio of entertainers, who perform as Lady A, were joined by other country stars including “Fancy Like” singer Walker Hayes and wife Laney Beville, Cody Alan, Cassadee Pope and Lindsay Ell.

Morgan Evans, singer and husband of honoree Kelsea Ballerini, was also spotted on the red carpet for the show.

The event will also honor Chris Stapleton, Gabby Barrett, Kane Brown, and Luke Combs.

Mickey Guyton and Randy Travis will also be honored at the event with the Breakout Artist of the Year, and Artist of a Lifetime honors, respectively.

Carly Pearce, Lady A, and Lindsay Ell are kicking off the 2021 CMT Music Awards!

The country stars all took over the stage for the first performance of the night at the awards ceremony on Wednesday night (June 9) at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn.

Carly and Lindsay joined Lady A members David Haywood, Hillary Scott, and Charles Kelley for a performance of the group’s hit song “Like a Lady.”

If you missed it, Carly walked the red carpet ahead of the awards show with quite possibly the best date ever!

The 2021 CMT Awards are airing RIGHT NOW on CMT, as well as on MTV, MTV2, Logo, TV Land and Paramount Network with co-hosts Kane Brown and Kelsea Ballerini.

The 31-year-old songstress let June walk the red carpet with her ahead of her performance at the ceremony.

Carly is also up for Female Video of the Year for her track, “Next Girl”.

“Can’t wait to perform at the #cmtawards TONIGHT and see if we take home the win for female video of the year! Seeing all of y’all vote for #nextgirl has meant so much,” she wrote on Twitter ahead of the event.

Tenille Arts and Lindsay Ell were also spotted on the red carpet ahead of the show.

Lindsay Ell has a new boyfriend!

The 31-year-old country star confirmed she’s in a relationship with 35-year-old L.A.-based poet and artist Adam Roa in a post on her Instagram on Thursday (October 22).

“Every moment spent with you makes me smile,” she captioned a sweet photo of Adam giving her a kiss in a warm embrace.

The two have been spending time together over the last several months, with both making trips between Los Angeles and Nashville, according to People.

Lindsay tagged Adam in a post in September, and the new couple led a songwriting workshop together called Write From the Heart earlier in October.

“Writing is a gift that I’m so grateful for… The ability to turn your emotions into art is so powerful. It lets you process what’s going on in your life and heal from it. TOMORROW I’m hosting my first ever songwriting workshop with @adam.roa,” she wrote.

All of these couples just tied the knot in 2020!

Lindsay Ell is opening up about being a survivor of not just one, but two rapes.

The 31-year-old country singer talked to People about her experiences as she drops a special new song dedicated to rape survivors.

“I was raped when I was 13, and it happened again when I was 21,” Lindsay says. “The song only talks about the first time. It’s just a difficult thing to talk about, and it’s something that I process every day still.”

She continues that “part of me talking about it now is liberating the little 13-year-old Lindsay and the 21-year-old Lindsay. Pain is something we can let control us if we don’t deal with it, but the minute you put a voice to your story the shame has no power.”

Lindsay says that when she was 13, she was groomed by a man in her church whom her family knew and he eventually raped her.

“I felt like I had really messed up, that everybody was going to judge me and that the rest of my life was ruined,” she revealed and added that she was 20 when she finally told her parents about it.

“They had no idea it happened, and they were absolutely horrified,” she says. “I’m so grateful towards both of them because they helped me not go into any unhealthy mechanisms to cope.”

Then, when she was 21, she was raped again, only saying that the second time was “different” and “a lot more violent.”

Lindsay has just released “make you”, as a tribute to survivors.

“I wanted to release it on Global Forgiveness Day. Forgiving people in our past is a huge thing for whatever reason, but forgiving yourself is so important,” Lindsay shared. “There’s an incredible amount of healing that can happen, and it can’t happen until you can truly open up that forgiveness for your own heart.”
