Florence Pugh Says She Put Herself Through Mental Abuse While Filming 'Midsommar,' Talks 'Immense Guilt' That Came With Filming 'Little Women' After

Florence Pugh looked back on her mental state after starring in 2019′s Midsommar.

The 27-year-old actress led the horror movie and transitioned into filming for Little Women immediately after.

During a recent podcast appearance, Florence said that doing so caused her “immense guilt.” She explained why and revealed how she suffered self-inflicted abuse while filming Midsommar.

Netflix Pulls Hit Series 'Little Women' From Streaming in Vietnam - Find Out Why

Netflix has decided to pull their newest hit Korean series, Little Women, from the streaming service in Vietnam.

Starring Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun and Park Ji Hu, Little Women and depicts the story of three poor sisters who are close, their involvement in the case of 70 billion won going missing, and how they bravely face Korea’s richest family.

Following the premiere last month on tvN, Netflix has pulled the series from streaming over backlash to one particular storyline.

Little Women is already a big hit.

The South Korean television series directed by Kim Hee-won is already topping the television ratings charts in South Korea, and it’s available to watch right now on Netflix.

The show stars Kim Go Eun, Nam Ji Hyun and Park Ji Hu, and is loosely based on the 1868 novel of the same name by Louisa May Alcott.

The show debuted on tvN on September 3, and airs every Saturday and Sunday, simultaneously being made available for streaming on Netflix.

'Little Women' Nears $100 Million Overseas as Theaters Reopen

Little Women is nearing the $100 million mark at the international box office!

As movie theaters open overseas, the coming-of-age drama directed by Greta Gerwig generated $760,000 this weekend from 13 markets, Variety reports. That means the movie as raked in $99.5 million in foreign theaters.

Little Women originally opened in theaters in late 2019, making $108 million at the domestic box office and $207 million worldwide.

Many international theaters started closing back in early January because of the health crisis. Theaters overseas are now slowly starting to reopen with fans going out to see movies again.

Little Women – starring Saoirse Ronan, Emma Watson, Timothée Chalamet, Florence Pugh and Eliza Scanlen – was nominated for six Oscars, winning one for costume design.

Emma Watson is opening up about how her new movie Little Women relates to 2019.

The 29-year-old actress, who plays Meg March in the film, says that Jo’s storyline in the movie relates to what is happening to Taylor Swift in her battle to own her music.

Jo March, played by Saoirse Ronan, also struggles to own the copyrights to her work.

“It’s about believing in yourself and knowing your worth and owning your worth,” Emma told Variety about the film. “Right now, the Taylor Swift situation is a great example of, you know, you’re young and you’re talented and someone wants to buy your work, but having ownership at the end of the day is super, super important because you don’t know what someone’s going to decide to do with that.”

Greta Gerwig is dishing on filming Little Women!

The 36-year-old director stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Friday (December 20) to chat about filming her new movie.

Greta revealed that while filming, she kept pregnancy with son Harold, 1, a secret – and that she turned to Cardi B inspired her pregnancy journey.

“I was pregnant and no one knew, and I would go home at night and watch Cardi B’s Instagram videos about her pregnancy — and they were incredible,” Greta shared. “I was like, she’s AMAZING! She’s making music videos and complaining about things! She’s wonderful!”
