Sandra Bullock keeps cool wearing a cowboy hat and sunglasses as she and a friend take Louis out to Fillmore Central Park on Saturday afternoon (April 21) in Fillmore, Calif.

The 47-year-old actress took her adorable son to see a life-sized replica of Thomas the Tank Engine.

Sandra has been working on a new film called Gravity. She stars opposite George Clooney in the sci-fi thriller which follows the story of the lone survivor of a space mission who desperately tries to return to Earth and reunite with her daughter.

Gravity hits theaters this November!

Sandra Bullock picks up her adorable son, Louis, from school on Tuesday (January 3) in Los Angeles.

The 47-year-old actress recently opened up about returning to acting following her public split and scandal from Jesse James.

“I was perfectly content to be permanently broken [from work]. I honestly didn’t think I was in a place where I wanted to work or wanted to step out of where I was,” Sandra told the Associated Press (via Huffington Post).

“I wasn’t prepared,” she added, referring to director Stephen Daldry‘s offer to work on Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. “But the opportunity was louder than my head.”

The 47-year-old actress recently joked with Access Hollywood that she’s taking a different approach for the holidays with Louis in terms of gift-giving.

“He gets nothing. Not a thing,” Sandra joked. “The less you give, the less they’ll expect. And that way if I give him nothing, he won’t remember it and he won’t expect it next year and it’s cheaper!”

Sandra also told Access that she’s not sure about expanding her family just yet. “I’m so blessed with what I have,” she said.

The 47-year-old actress recently enjoyed a girls’ night out with Heidi Klum and some gal pals in Hollywood.

The group partied at Beacher’s Madhouse inside The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel until nearly 2 a.m., where they sat in a back booth and sipped champagne, People reports.

Sandra “had a smile on her face the whole night” and danced to songs such as The Clash‘s “Rock the Casbah” and AC/DC‘s “You Shook Me All Night Long,” an eyewitness told the mag.
