“When I first found out about the news, I did want to throw the towel in,” he told SiriusXM. “But it was [my] mum that said to me that I just gotta keep going. She told me very sternly that she wanted me to.”
“So I’m not doing it for her, but we’re doing it for each other,” he added. “It was tough, but I felt like it was nice for me to have a little send-off.”
While making an appearance on Hits 1 in Hollywood, the 25-year-old singer revealed what it’s like hearing Zayn‘s songs on the radio.
“It’s a strange feeling but it’s nice…His first song was an absolute smash and a great song. It’s nice,” he explained.
Louis added, “I think a lot of us have spoken recently. Me and Zayn have spoken recently. I think we’ve got to a point now where you can just really be happy for each other. Things have happened in the past of course…but yeah, it’s great.”
We’re so glad to hear that the boys of One Direction are on good terms!
