Ryan Seacrest Responds to Andy Cohen's 'Loser' Diss, Reacts to Drinking on Air, & Reveals Which Stars Showed Up Tipsy for New Year's Eve Ball Drop Performance

Ryan Seacrest is opening up about CNN’s decision to limit some drinking during their New Year’s Eve special this year, especially after what happened last year.

If you don’t know, Ryan has been hosting Dick Clark’s New Years Rockin’ Eve on ABC since 2006. Anderson Cooper has been co-hosting CNN’s broadcast for years with Andy Cohen joining as co-host a few years ago.

During last year’s broadcast on CNN, Andy said at one point, “If you look behind me, you’ll see Ryan Seacrest’s group of losers performing. I’m sorry but if you’re watching ABC, you’re watching nothing.” Andy eventually said he regretted saying what he said.

After this incident, CNN apparently made the decision to limit some of the drinking that might be taking place. (Meanwhile, Andy responded to this and still plans to party!)

Now, just before hosting the 2023 ball drop from New York City’s Times Square, Ryan Seacrest is speaking out about the “losers” diss, CNN’s drinking decision, and also dished which celebs might have performed a little tipsy on the show in a new interview.
