There are so many celebrities who have names that may not be as obvious to pronounce as you might think.

While many stars’ names seem like you definitely know how to say it, or it’s been said publicly one way, that’s incorrect and you’re probably saying it wrong.

Celebs like Rihanna, Timothée Chalamet, Travis Kelce and Adele have corrected the pronunciation of their names in the press, and there are so many more.

To help you out, Just Jared has compiled a list of famous names that fans often struggle with and we have the proper pronunciation.

Celebrities really are just like us! By that we mean that they are also counting down the days until their Spotify Wrapped is unveiled.

Just like everyone else, they also cannot wait to show off the data from the streaming service.

On Wednesday (November 29), Spotify shared each user’s listening habits from the last year, and so many stars hopped on social media to share the insight with their fans.

Unsurprisingly, some very popular artists (like Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigo) were familiar names. In fact, one star is such a Swiftie that they were within Taylor‘s Top 3% of listeners.

Another surprising celebrity had Colbie Caillat as their Top Artist for 2023.

We pulled together the data we got from 10 different celebrities, and there were some other interesting revelations. For instance, see which musicians landed on their own list of Top Artists and who didn’t. Another celeb even shared their top song for each of their Top 5 artists.

While some of our beloved celebrities have simple and easy-to-pronounce names, others can be quite challenging.

Adele, Emily Ratajkowski, Djimon Hounsou, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan and most recently, Taylor Lautner have been correcting press and even fans on how to actually say their name, after years of not saying a word about it.

“Names are so important, and I find that it’s a big part of your identity — it personally is for me. I love my name so, so much. And constantly, I get people saying, ‘Oh, you don’t even know how to say your own name right.’ It’s like, ‘No, no, no, I do. I do know how to say my own name right,’” Maitreyi shared in a voice note. “Because the reality is, no one knows how to say someone else’s name except for the person themselves, you know? Like, this is my name. I’m sorry, but I get to call the shots here. There is one answer and that answer is my own. There’s no discussion for that.”

Netflix‘s Tudum: A Global Fan Event in Sao Paulo, Brazil was the place to be this weekend!

So many stars from the streamer’s upcoming shows were at the fan event, promoting their projects, and fans also got first looks at a lot of the highly-anticipated shows.

Gal Gadot, Alia Bhatt, and Jamie Dornan shared the first trailer for their new movie, Heart of Stone, while Chris Hemsworth and director Sam Hargrave were there to promote Extraction 2.

Bridgerton‘s Nicola Coughlan was joined by Queen Charlotte stars India Amarteifio and Corey Mylchreest there, too.

Maisa, Outer Banks‘ Chase Stokes, and Never Have I Ever‘s Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Darren Barnet, and Jaren Lewison, and Sofia Boutella were also spotted on the stage.

Maitreyi Ramakrishnan gets kissed by both Jaren Lewison and Darren Barnet at the Never Have I Ever final season premiere!

The three stars of the series walked a purple carpet for the final season premiere of the Netflix series held at Regency Village Theatre on Thursday (June 1) in Los Angeles.

The trio were joined by co-stars Niecy Nash-Betts, Ramona Young, Poorna Jagannathan, Jack Seavor McDonald, Royal Patel, Adam Shapiro, Benjamin Norris, Lee Rodriguez, Richa Moorjani, Michael Cimino, Ranjita Chakravarty, and Ivan Hernandez.

The series, a coming-of-age comedy about the complicated life of a modern-day first-generation Indian American teenage girl, centers on Maitreyi‘s Devi, an overachieving high school student who has a short fuse that gets her into difficult situations.

The final season is set to debut on Netflix on June 8.

So many celebrities stepped out to attend Gold House’s 2nd annual Gold Gala at The Music Center on Saturday (May 6) in Los Angeles.

Eva Longoria, Sandra Oh, Harry Shum Jr. and Stephanie Hsu were just a few of the stars who posed for photos on the red carpet at the event. Oscar winner Ke Huy Quan was also in attendance with his wife Echo Quan.
