Major Lazer have just dropped their brand new single “Run Up” featuring Nicki Minaj and PARTYNEXTDOOR, and you can stream it here now!​ ​

The upbeat track follows the group’s – comprised of​ ​Diplo, Jillionaire and Walshy Fire – smash hit “Cold Water” with Justin Biber.

“Partynextdoor is a good friend of ours,” Diplo said in a statement. “We’re always working in LA when he is around and we’ve cut a lot of music and we really believe in what he does and his style. He came up with a great song. I’ve always wanted to work with Nicki as well, she’s on our short list. Of course this record… she just vibed with it, she loved the feeling and timing was right so we got her on it. So hopefully we can do a lot more with her next time, we’ve traded some music back and forth so hopefully we got some of that done.”

“Major Lazer is all about making the world​ ​smaller by making the party bigger,” added Walshy. “This felt like the perfect song to start off​ ​2017.”

Major Lazer‘s new song “Cold Water” featuring Justin Bieber and MØ has officially been released and you can listen to it right here!

The song is now available to download on iTunes and you can stream it below thanks to Spotify.

The song is set to be featured on Major Lazer‘s upcoming album Music is the Weapon.

Major Lazer just dropped the music video for their “Light It Up (Remix)” featuring Nyla and Fuse ODG and you can watch right here!

The track is the latest single off the production trio’s – Diplo, Switch, and Jillionaire – album Peace Is the Mission, which is available now.

“The whole sentiment of this Major Lazer track is about overcoming negativity and sadness, coming together, and rising up in dance to ‘Light It Up’,” director Sam Pilling expressed about the clip. “Because Fuse‘s family is from Ghana we thought it would bring a really interesting aesthetic to film the video there. Delving deeper into Ghanaian culture, we found that their traditional funeral ceremonies perfectly exemplify this sense of coming together to rise up against sadness. The whole community joins together, first in mourning the death, then in celebrating the life that was lived. We worked closely with a Ghanaian family and village, meeting the elders and receiving their blessing to film a real funeral ceremony. I found a poem ‘Kae’ [Remember] written in a traditional Ghanaian language�”Twe�”which felt like the perfect companion to the video as it is about reflecting on sadness but rising up and looking to the future and to new life.”

The song features vocals from Jamaican singer Nyla and it is featured on the electronic music group’s album Peace Is the Mission.

Spotify has revealed the most streamed song of all time on its service… and it’s Major Lazer and DJ Snake‘s song “Lean On” featuring MØ.

The song has been streamed over 526 million times since it was released earlier this year and it has now taken the top spot on the list from Ed Sheeran‘s “Thinking Out Loud.”

Ed‘s hit song became the first track to reach over 500 million streams on the music service.

Major Lazer has revealed that he recorded the song with MØ only after Rihanna and Nicki Minaj before turned it down.

Ellie Goulding and her boyfriend Dougie Poynter look totally in love as they make their way through Heathrow Airport arm-in-arm on Sunday (July 26) in London, England.

The 28-year-old “Love Me Like You Do” singer was all smiles after the 27-year-old McFly musician surprised her after her Los Angeles flight.
