'This Is Us' Super Bowl Preview - Everything You Need to Know

The special episode of This Is Us will be airing TONIGHT (February 4) after the 2018 Super Bowl and here’s everything you need to know.

The episode is scheduled to air from 10:15pm EST until 11:35pm EST, but there’s a big chance that the game runs over and the episode is delayed. Make sure that your DVR is set to record extra time so you don’t miss a minute of the episode.

Here is what happened on the most recent episode (spoilers ahead):

  • In the flashbacks, we saw that Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) watched the Super Bowl alone as their three kids all had other plans. Late that night when everyone is at home and asleep, Jack turns off an old slow cooker in the kitchen, but the faulty switch causes a fire in the house. We’re finally going to get answers to how Jack died in tonight’s episode.
  • Randall (Sterling K. Brown) and Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) decided to buy and manage a run-down building that his father William used to live in. While doing repairs, there was a bug infestation and the building had to be vacated for an exterminator to do work.
  • After completing rehab, Kevin (Justin Hartley) decides to help out Randall with the repairs to help get his mind off everything.
  • Kate (Chrissy Metz) decides to adopt a dog for her fiance Toby (Chris Sullivan) after she sees him looking at dogs on the internet. She almost backed out of adopting the dog while at the shelter, but ended up doing it. We did get to see a shot of young Kate playing with a dog right before the fire broke out, which makes us wonder if her childhood dog didn’t make it out of the fire alive.

Make sure to watch This Is Us after the Super Bowl!

Mandy Moore Describes Her 'This Is Us' Co-Stars in One Word

Mandy Moore is looking smokin’ on the cover of Cosmopolitan magazine’s March 2018 issue.

Here’s what the This Is Us star had to share with the mag:

On how she’d describe her This Is Us co-stars with one word:
·Milo Ventimiglia: Boundless (+ just the greatest in every way)
·Chrissy Metz: Spectacular (one of the funniest / crazy talented)
·Sterling K. Brown: Majestic (brilliant doesn’t even cover it)
·Justin Hartley: Magnificent (+ tall + utterly handsome)

On This Is Us: “Before I got the part, I was making massive changes in my personal life and was looking to echo that in my work. I was waiting for something different that would allow me to dig deep. I knew I was capable, but I couldn’t get any momentum, and I had just been crushed by three failed pilot seasons. When I read the script for This Is Us, I told my agent, “I will do absolutely anything to be a part of this.”"

On the current climate in Hollywood: “We’re having a real cultural reckoning”one that’s definitely past due. Men have been using their positions of power to take advantage of women, and it’s so prevalent…I can only hope that what’s happening encourages more women [to speak out] and it serves to put women in more powerful positions across the spectrum and in entertainment specifically…as studio heads, directors, writers, and produces. I think it’s going to help women ascend to the top faster.”

Mandy Moore Fell In Love With Shane West While Filming 'A Walk To Remember'

Mandy Moore is remembering her first film A Walk to Remember on its 16th anniversary.

The 33-year-old actress took to her Instagram to share a sweet throwback from the film alongside her co-star Shane West.

“Jamie + Landon, 16 years ago, A Walk to Remember ❤️ #TBT,” Mandy captioned the photo.

On the film’s anniversary last year, Mandy also spilled about her on-set chemistry with Shane.

Shane was so cool. Everything about him – the way he dressed, the little cigarettes that he smoked, and the music he listened to. He was the character to me and there was definitely a part of me that absolutely fell in love with him,” Mandy told EW.

She added, “I don’t know if I could discern the difference between him and the character at that point in time because, again, it was my first experience doing anything like this and I was a 16-year-old, impressionable girl. I was just so caught up in the moment and the experience. I absolutely walked away from that project so convinced that there would never be a project as special as that. Shane was so wonderful.”
