The first prequel movie for the popular mystery series will debut TONIGHT, at 9 p.m. on the network, with Skyler Samuels taking over the title role.
Here’s the full summary: Post-college, Young Aurora Teagarden (Samuels) finds herself back home near her mother, Aida (Marilu Henner) in Lawrenceton to pursue her grad degree. Working as a teacher’s assistant in a crime fiction class, Aurora is struggling to settle on a thesis.
To support her schooling and life, Aurora also waitresses at the local diner at night, where she shares her love of researching true crime with her friend Sally (Kayla Heller), who is set to be married, and police officer Arthur (Evan Roderick).
When Sally’s fiancé doesn’t show up at the wedding rehearsal, Maid of Honor Aurora gets Arthur to help her search for him. When they discover a body, everyone assumes it is Sally’s tardy groom, but when it turns out to be someone else, Sally’s fiancé becomes the main suspect.
Beanie Feldstein recently tied the knot with longtime love Bonnie Chance Roberts and they had a lot of celebrity friends in attendance at their wedding!
The wedding took place at Cedar Lakes Estate in Port Jervis, NY, which is about 90 minutes away from New York City.
“I grew up going to summer camp for ten years, and my parents and both sets of my grandparents met at summer camp, so camp is a lineage of love through the generations of my family. Even though we met in London and fell in love on a film set, to get married at a camp was a truly beautiful emotional homecoming,” Beanie told Vogue.
