Benedict Cumberbatch laughs with his co-star Martin Freeman on the set of Sherlock while filming for season three on Tuesday (May 21) in London, England.

The 36-year-old Star Trek Into Darkness actor’s hit series will premiere in the Fall of this year on the BBC.

Benedict recently chatted with the LA Times about his catapult to fame.

“I’ve just driven past a phone booth, with my face, the poster they use of me for the film, it’s amazing,” Benedict said. “To be in the middle of New York, a city I’ve always loved, and going to the premiere and seeing myself on a side of a phone booth, I think you’d have to be made of stone not to feel something.”

Benedict Cumberbatch is all bundled up while filming his hit show Sherlock on Sunday (April 14) in London, England.

The 36-year-old English actor was joined on set by his co-star Martin Freeman, who was spotted filming a fight scene.

Benedict Cumberbatch flashes a grin on the set of his massively popular series Sherlock on Wednesday (April 10) in London, England.

The 36-year-old actor was joined on the set that afternoon by his co-star Martin Freeman.

The duo are currently filming the third series (season) of the BBC drama. Fans have been waiting for the new episodes on pins and needles ever since the series two finale aired in January 2012. It is expected that the new episodes will air in late 2013.

Cate Blanchett shines at the Royal Film Performance of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey held at the Odeon Leicester Square on Wednesday (December 12) in London, England.

Joining the 43-year-old actress on the red carpet were here co-star Martin Freeman with his partner Amanda Abbington, Ian McKellan, director Peter Jackson, and former Hobbits Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd.

The Hobbit hits theaters this Friday (December 14). Will you be checking it out???

Evangeline Lilly and Cate Blanchett hit the red carpet of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey world premiere held at the Embassy Theatre on Wednesday (November 28) in Wellington, New Zealand.

The two co-stars were joined by cast mates Elijah Wood, Martin Freeman, Hugo Weaving, and director Peter Jackson.

On the red carpet, Cate rocked an Antonio Berardi gown and Roger Vivier shoes, while Evangeline debuted a brand new hairdo!

Cate Blanchett takes one of five covers for Empire magazine‘s December 2012 issue, available on Empire U.S for the iPad, offering a first look at The Hobbit: An Expected Journey.

The 43-year-old actress is pictured as her character Galadriel while the other covers feature Ian McKellan as Gandalf, Martin Freeman as Bilbo Baggins, Richard Armitage as Thorin, and everyone’s favorite Gollum!

“I think it was just getting to spend some time in close proximity to Ian McKellen. I’m smitten… Maybe in some different universe we’re blissfully happy together,” Cate said of her favorite experience filming the flick.

“I have less baby fat and my face is slightly more angular. But once I’d put the wig, the feet and the clothing on again and took a photo of myself on my iPhone and looked at it, it blew my mind how much I still resembled Frodo,” Elijah Wood said of playing Frodo at 30.
