Adam Driver Would Love If 'Star Wars: Episode VIII' Never Recieved A Trailer!

Adam Driver loves the idea of Star Wars: Episode VIII hitting theaters with no trailer at all!

While the film isn’t set to hit theaters until 2017, the 33-year-old actor has no problem sharing his thoughts on the idea. “I think that’d be bold. I’d love it, yeah! Then no one would know anything,” Adam expressed (via CinemaBlend). “The less people know, I feel like, the more exciting… the more of an event it is.”

Adam Driver Confesses That He's 'Very Wary Of Hollywood Movies'!

Adam Driver is opening up about not being a fan of big Hollywood films, and how it effected his approach to doing Star Wars: The Force Awakens!

“I had a lot of apprehension,” the 33-year-old actor confessed to THR. “I’m very wary of Hollywood movies because I feel like a lot of them sacrifice story for spectacle and it’s very much about effects and results as opposed to characters that you can actually connect with. But the first words out of J.J. [Abrams]‘s mouth were about story and character that would propel the plot forward, not an effect, and that was really exciting to me.”

Last night (December 8), Adam flashed a smile alongside his co-star Liam Neeson and writer-director Martin Scorsese at the New York screening of their latest film Silence held at the Regal E-Walk Theater on Thursday (December 8) in New York City.

The trio were later joined by producers Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Randall Emmett and Irwin Winkler, as well as film editor Thelma Schoonmaker at a special panel for the flick.

Silence's Martin Scorsese Opens Up About Drug Addiction Past

Andrew Garfield and his Silence director Martin Scorsese pose on the cover of THR.

Here’s what the pair shared with the mag:

Andrew, on filming on location: “[It] does things to your mind, especially when you’re on location in Taiwan, not knowing anybody. I would have about three hours’ sleep a night and have dreams and visions of the greatest meals of my life with the closest people. It’s very isolating and lonely and creates a spiritual hunger and a longing for comfort and connection.”

Martin, on his drug addiction past: “After finishing New York, New York, I took chances,” he says. “[I was] out of time and out of place and also in turmoil in my own life and embracing the other world, so to speak, with a kind of attraction to the dangerous side of existence. Then on Labor Day weekend, I found myself in a hospital, surprised that I was near death…Misuse of normal medications in combinations [to which] my body reacted in strange ways. I was down to about 109 pounds. It wasn’t only drug-induced — asthma had a lot to do with it. I was kept in a hospital for 10 days and nights, and they took care of me, these doctors, and I became aware of not wanting to die and not wasting [my life]. I prayed. But if I prayed, it was just to get through those 10 days and nights. I felt [if I was saved] it was for some reason. And even if it wasn’t for a reason, I had to make good use of it.”

Andrew Garfield Defines His Religion as 'Mostly Confused'

Andrew Garfield is opening up about his spiritual beliefs.

In his latest film Silence, the 33-year-old actor and his co-star Adam Driver play Jesuit priests who face violence and persecution when they travel to Japan to locate their mentor and propagate Christianity in the seventeenth century.

In real life, however, Andrew says he can’t put a single label on his faith.

“I’m not a Christian person,” Andrew told The Hollywood Reporter. “I consider myself pantheist, agnostic, occasionally atheist, and a little bit Jewish, but mostly confused.”

“It was a year that I spent with this one particular Jesuit priest, Father James Martin, who was a consultant on the film and has become a dear friend and my spiritual director in a very surreal way,” Andrew added. “It’s the thing that transcends simply making a film.”

Pictured: Andrew and Adam at a special screening and Q&A for Silence presented by Paramount Pictures and the Film Foundation at the Regency Village Theatre on Sunday (December 4) in Los Angeles. Also in attendance was their co-star Issey Ogata and director Martin Scorsese.

Silence hits limited theaters on December 23 and opens nationwide in January – watch the latest trailer here!

Miles Teller Can Relate To 'Bleed For This' Comeback In Very Personal Way!

Miles Teller has revealed that he relates to the tragic recovering story in Bleed For This in a very personal way.

The 29-year-old actor, who plays Vinny Pazienza – the champion boxer who fought back from a devastating spinal cord injury in the 1990s – in the flick, recently revealed that when he was 20 he was thrown from a car going 80 miles per hour. The near-fatal accident left his face and neck scarred and required years of recovery.

“When the car accident happens, it was similar for me as it was for Vinny in the sense that you don’t see it coming and you’re not really even sure of the repercussions and consequences until a while later,” Miles expressed (via RedEye Chicago). “It’s really traumatic for the people around you. I know my parents, when they saw that car accident, that was tougher for them to watch than the boxing because there’s a real truth there. Where I could relate to it more was picking up the pieces.”

Miles was accompanied by his girlfriend Keleigh Sperry, as well as co-stars Aaron Eckhart, Katey Sagal, director Ben Younger, Martin Scorsese and real-life Vinny Paz at the Open Road and Men’s Fitness premiere of Bleed For This at AMC Lincoln Square Theater last night (November 14) in New York City.

Also pictured: Miles and Keleigh spotted keeping it cool and casual while touching down at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Sunday (November 13) in New York City.

FYI: Miles is wearing a Valentino suit with an Omega timepiece. Katey is wearing a Kimora Lee Simmons dress, Christian Louboutin shoes, and Graziela Gems earrings.
