Disgraced CEO Martin Shkreli Will Let You Punch Him in the Face

Martin Shkreli, the former pharmaceutical CEO who angered the world when he raised the price of an HIV medication by a shocking amount, is auctioning off the chance to punch him in the face.

The 33-year-old businessman is trying to raise money to support the young son of a friend who passed away.

Martin is letting people send him direct messages on Twitter to bid on the chance to punch or slap him in the face. He claims to have a bid as high as $78,000 already.

Some people online are even thinking about starting a crowdfund page to have a professional boxer do the honors as Martin says the winner can pick someone else to deliver the punch.

Martin Shkreli Wants to Buy Kanye West's Album for $10 Million

Martin Shkreli, the pharmaceutical exec who became infamous for significantly raising the price of a drug to treat AIDS patients, wants to be the sole owner of Kanye West‘s new album The Life of Pablo.

The exec, who was arrested on security fraud charges back in December, has offered $10 million to the rapper in exchange for the album.

“Instead of releasing this product for your millions of fans, I ask you to sell this recording solely to me, for the price of $10,000,000. I believe you (and your partners) will find this financial arrangement more attractive than your current course of action,” he wrote in an open letter on his Twitter account.

Martin has previously purchased the sole copy of Wu-Tang Clan‘s album Once Upon a Time in Shaolin for $2 million.

Pharmaceutical CEO Martin Shkreli Arrested for Fraud

Martin Shkreli, CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, was arrested in New York City on Thursday (December 17) on charges of fraud.

You may remember the 32-year-old founder and businessman from his viral story several months ago. Martin acquired an HIV medication through his company and raised the drug from $13.50 to $750 overnight.

Martin was arrested for securities fraud, and is not related to his crazy drug practices from months ago, but rather from when he was a former hedge fund manager and running another company called Retrophin.

Shkreli was the paradigm faithless servant,” Retrophin’s complaint read (via the New York Times). “Starting sometime in early 2012, and continuing until he left the company, Shkreli used his control over Retrophin to enrich himself and to pay off claims of MSMB investors (who he had defrauded).”
