Mary J. Blige and Keri Hilson step out at the 2011 BET Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium on Sunday (June 26) in Los Angeles.

Mary wore a jumpsuit designed by Marni Senafonte and a Giuseppe Zanotti belt as she kicked off the show with a powerhouse performance of her songs “Mary Jane” and “Real Love” before being joined by the legendary Anita Baker on “Caught Up in the Rapture.”

The 40-year-old singer ended her performance by debuting the song “It Ain’t Over Til’ It’s Over” featuring Jadakiss and DJ Khaled.

Keri walked the carpet in a Tibi purple and black strapless jumper, gold Ann Taylor cuff, and an Adeler necklace. She was nominated during the show for Best Female R&B Artist. Keri finished her look with a Carla Amorim “EIXO” ring.

Justin Bieber celebrates his manager Scooter Braun‘s 30th birthday at The Music Box Theater on Saturday (June 18) in Hollywood.

The 17-year-old singer performed with pal Jaden Smith, while Adam Levine, Usher, and surprise performer MC Hammer also hit the stage separately.

Usher served as Master of Ceremonies along with Scooter‘s brother Adam at the party, where close friends and family helped kick off the festivities by playfully roasting the birthday boy.

“The big day is here. you are an old man now @scooterbraun . lol. with love #HAPPYBIRTHDAYSCOOTER,” Justin tweeted.

Jennifer Hudson and Kerry Washington lend their support to the 2nd Annual Mary J. Blige Honors Concert held at Hammerstein Ballroom on Sunday night (May 1) in New York City.

The event, which benefited FFAWN’s Scholarship Fund, was hosted by Mary J., Queen Latifah, and Elle’s Robbie Myers. The fund helps send young women to college with full, four-year scholarships.

Beyonce is white hot on the red carpet at Lorraine Schwartz‘s “2BHAPPY” jewelry collection launch on Monday (November 22) at NYC hotpost Lavo.

The 29-year-old entertainer hosted the event and was seen dancing with celebs like Mary J. Blige and Kim Kardashian, who got cozy with Gabriel Aubry over the weekend in L.A.

Is Mary J. Blige heading back to school?

The 39-year-old entertainer has sold over 50 million records, won six Grammy Awards and has released seven multi-platinum records, but the next thing she’s gunning for is a bachelor’s degree!

While chatting with the hosts of Good Morning America last week, Mary mentioned that she’s planning to go back to school and will be joining Howard University’s class of 2014. Mary has since then confirmed the news, stating, “the city of New York gave me my high school diploma … and now Howard University has accepted me.”
