Here’s what The Wanted had to share with the mag:

On getting ready for appearances and photo shoots: “It’s scary getting groomed. There’s pressure to look decent�” that’s a hard task!”

On musical inspiration: “I was inspired by Nirvana, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers. Anything with a guitar, really.”

The Wanted suit up for the white carpet at the 2012 Billboard Music Awards held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday (May 20) in Las Vegas.

The five guys – Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes – are performing at tonight’s ceremony. Other performers at the awards include Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood, and Justin Bieber!

The Billboard Music Awards, hosted by Modern Family‘s Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell, airs live today from 8-11pm ET on ABC. Don’t forget to tune in!

Jessie J wears her support for Mario and Luigi from the Super Mario Bros., in Los Angeles on Monday evening (April 9).

Earlier in the evening, the 24-year-old singer performed at The Roxy Theatre. Showing her support in the audience were fellow Brits, boy band The Wanted. The lads gave Jessie a shout-out on Twitter, “At the Roxy to support our girl @jessiejofficial. Can’t wait to see her kill it!”

And kill it she did. Jessie tweeted that night: “That felt brand new. So inspiring, THANK YOU LA!”

Jessie also just premiered the “Laserlight” video, her second collaboration with David Guetta. The track is the final single off her debut album, Who You Are .

“Great news, America: We are thrilled to announce we will be releasing our first US album on April 24!! Stay tuned for details :),” the band recently tweeted.

The group also used their Twitter page to set the record straight about some recent rumors.

“[D]ont believe everything u read. we like to party but we do not have an interest in hating on anyone else. We do us and r proud 2 see others do the same. we work hard and have since day 1. no rumor will stop that. our actions will speak louder and our music and character is #1,” The Wanted wrote. “[S]o we will speak for ourselves and let you know THE WANTED are about a good time. Every fan from 2 years old to 80 is appreciated and loved …for anyone to say otherwise is just wrong. not gonna stand for it.”

The Wanted stop by the Q102 studio for a concert on Tuesday (January 24) in Philadelphia, Penn.

Over the weekend, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, Tom Parker, and Nathan Sykes hit Splash Bar in NYC where they performed their hits “Glad You Came” and “All Time Low.”

The band will be dropping by more gay clubs across the country, including Saloon in Minneapolis, Krave in Las Vegas, and Cherry Pop in West Hollywood.
