Nicola Peltz has finalized her deal to join the cast of Bates Motel, A&E’s upcoming Psycho prequel, JustJared.com can confirm!

The 17-year-old Last Airbender actress will star as Bradley Kenner, “a girl Norman (Freddie Highmore) takes a liking to at school who’s described as bright and effortlessly sexy with a depth that makes her seem older than she really is,” according to THR.

Bates Motel follows the relationship between Norman and his mother Norma (Vera Farmiga) and offers a look at his back story that helped forge the infamous serial killer.

House At The End of the Street star Max Thieriot will be playing Norman’s rebellious older brother.

Max Thieriot is engaged to Lexi Murphy, his girlfriend of seven years!

The 23-year-old actor recently popped the question to Lexi on a vacation and shared the story with Flaunt Magazine.

“I think she expected it was coming. Then, she ended up thinking it wasn’t going to happen because I waited a whole week [on the vacation] before I asked,” Max said.

Here is more of what the House at the End of the Street actor had to share with the mag:

On giving up on his baseball dreams: “When I was really young, I wanted to play baseball. I had one really good year so I moved up with the really big kids. I was eleven playing with 14 year olds. Then a kid got hit in the face, he broke his jaw – he broke his nose, he broke his cheekbone, and shattered like, everything, and it was really terrible. I came up to bat next and I got hit in the arm. After that I just couldn’t hit the ball.”

On his role in Disconnect: “It’s one of those roles where I was like, I have to go all out on this because if I half-ass it, it’s going to look cheesy and stupid. My character falls in love with her and she [Andrea Riseborough's character] falls in love with him, but he’s a minor and she’s in her late-20′s, so it gets crazy.”

Max Thieriot has been cast in the lead role of a new untitled pilot for ABC to be directed by Roland Emmerich.

The 23-year-old actor will play an astrophysics grad student in NYC who learns that he is the chosen one to destroy the forces of evil, according to Deadline.

“Well guess cats outa the bag… I will b doing an #ABC show (pilot) directed by Roland Emmerich. Gonna b a change but I’m excited!” Max tweeted.

In addition to directing the pilot, Roland (The Day After Tomorrow, 2012) will write the script.
